We loved our trip with Bluebell and meeting Rosanna and Mark. The campervan has been well looked after, was spotless on collection, and had everything we needed for a family trip to the Peak District. Good storage space and good kitchen equipment - working fridge was helpful too. It was our first time in a campervan and we’d definitely do it again!
Motorhome and Campervan Hire in Hove
My husband and I hired Bert for 3 days. He's a great van, sturdy yet agile and easy to drive for a van this size. The cruise control was great to have! Bert has a functioning kitchen, toilet/shower, and a lounge area in the back. The bed is made by pulling out slat panels underneath and putting the sofa cushions out to make a double bed. It was surprisingly comfortable! The kitchen comes with water and gas and some basic supplies (oil, salt, kettle, etc). The van has heating too, but we couldn't figure out how to use the electric heating (when we were hooked up to electrics at a campsite), so we used gas heating instead, which worked fine. We picked up the van from Dawn's home and we were able to park our car on her drive while we were away. Dawn was very friendly, and was very generous and flexible in terms of drop off time when we came back. All in all, Bert is a great van that has all the basics that you want and need for a nice roadtrip.
Thanks Georgia and Taz for letting us your van for our holiday in Wales. The van drives beautifully, the kitchen works well and was equipped with tools to cook and eat for two. Also, they handy pick-up just five minutes walk from King Cross St Pancras could not be any easier and communication was clear, quick and friendly. Five Stars!
I'm a little hesitant to write this review, as I want to keep Vinnie a secret, so that he will be available when I want! Vinnie took such great care of me on my trip. He's perfect size to drive - not too big and unwieldy. He's got everything you could possibly need, and his owner Will is so helpful and great to deal with. My only tip would be if you're gonna stay in him for more than a few nights you might want a topper for the bed (which are the seats folded out) as he is very hard (and I like a hard bed, but I did find him quite uncomfortable) and he's not very long or wide, so for a couple of people for more than a few nights you might find this a bit of a problem. I am 5ft2, and I found him a little short. He is noisy to drive on the motorway because of his solar panel, so this might be troublesome if you're doing long distances on motorway with him and are noise sensitive, but is great knowing you're never gonna run out of power with the solar panel. I loved having the heater to heat up the space before going to sleep in sub zero temps, likewise in the morning. I love Vinnie and would def take him out again in a heart beat. 5 stars for Vinnie and Will :)
