Motorhome and Campervan Hire in Lancashire
We had the most amazing trip in Ben's van! We were met by Mark, who gave us an excellent introduction to how everything works and went out of his way to help us start our journey. The van is a modern and very well fitted VW Transporter and was easy to drive - it managed the windy and steep roads of the NC500 with ease. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare food. We brought a coffee percolator and tea towels but otherwise there is very little you need to bring! The van comes with two camping chairs, but no barbecue or outside table. Note on sleeping arrangements: we were very comfortable as a group of three, but four might feel a bit more cramped. Currently, the roof sleeping pod has an inflatable single bed and the back seats fold down to make a small double. Thanks Ben and Mark for such a brilliant adventure! We can't wait to come back.
We had a great journey in Andrew's motorhome! It was our first motorhome experience, but Andrew was great in introducing us to the world of motorhome travel, did a great handover and overall was very approachable, positive and great to deal with. The motorhome itself is almost new, in perfect condition and had everything we needed to keep 5 of us comfortable and feeling like home. Great experience and highly recommend to travel with Andrew's motorhome and Goboony!
The camper van, Floyd, was very well equipped. It was our first experience of a camper van, and sadly we had to cut our holiday short for family reasons, but we would probably do it again! However, next time we would take an inflatable mattress (not supplied, although I read rather belatedly on the blogs that it was recommended) as the double bed was not comfortable. Driving-wise, Floyd was very comfortable indeed. Debbie was very accommodating in letting us change our hand-over times.
Great experience, highly recommend! The van is very nice - better than it looks on the pictures. We slept “downstairs” on a double air mattress which was cozy but quite convenient. Kitchen works perfectly fine with gas and there is a second leisure battery built in. Debbie was very helpful explaining everything about the van. For me who never drove a camper before it was very easy and convenient driving through Cornwall.
Floyd was great for a weekend away that we managed just before the whole UK lockdown. Debs was very helpful talking through all the various areas of the Bongo and quick to help with any questions we had. Floyd was very easy to drive, wasn't too thirsty and for someone like me interested to purchase a Bongo was a great experience to help decide! We headed down to the Jurassic Coast and stayed at the Golden Cap Campervan park which we thoroughly recommend, walking distance to pub, beach and great coastal walks! We caught a taxi into Lyme Regis and had a great evening of drinks and caught some live Jazz at the theatre! My first experience using Goboony and it was brilliant from start to finish.
We loved our stay in Andrew's motorhome. We were a little worried about driving such a large vehicle as it was my first time driving one. Andrew made us very aware of how things work and how I should drive it. It was much easier than I thought it would be, a lovely drive and the SAT nav is great. It has everything you need onboard, our kids loved it and we will be booking again soon. Highly recommend
