Bertie – T6 California Beach 2019 sleeps 4

This is a 2019 Factory build T6 California Beach (which means no integrated hob/sink/fridge so we provide the cool box, camping kitchen (flat pack) & two ring hob, so you get more cabin space and a full width Rock & Roll Bed) . We love our family camper Bertie with inbuilt lights and integrated blinds around van and separate magnetic privacy screening for windscreen..

You have a pop roof / twin bed (VW supplied mattress, additional topper optional) with wooden slats and rock & roll 3 seater which turns into your bed downstairs.

When not in sleep mode the front two seats spin around and with the practical table, cleverly hidden in the sliding door (don't you love German engineering!) Mean's you have a place to eat and play cards etc, when the Pop Top Roof is upright, there is lots of head room too.…

If sleeping for 2, we like sleeping in Pop up Roof and keep down stairs as living area, but if 4 sleeping in it, will be snug but you will be warm with 2 up 2 down (plus optional dog)

We have a clever light for up top and some adapters for your gadgets etc, plus adapter for campsites electric hook up (U.K & Europe have different connections, but we have both!). When Hooked up at Campsite their is one single 3 pin plus inside rear of Camper and can supply a extension lead if need one....

The rear 3 Bench seat is on a two sliders so you can make the boot really big for storage (their is a divider factory supplied to help stacking) and handy storage under seats. The Rear Bench Seat moves all the way back when unpacked for maximum cabin space at your destination. Their is practical fitted tow bar. We can provide a little tent (optional) which goes over back of boot for a bit more space when Large Boot Lid open, on site and of course the awning on the side with 2 chairs hidden in the boot lid which is useful too.

If you are new to the T6 California Beach I can show you all the tricks to may the seats swivel, put up the Awning, get the table out etc on pickup, but of course Youtube.com can be your friend too!

This is a new venture for us to Rent out Bertie, we are sure you will have fun in the California Beach T6, any queries, please just ask!

We supply camping kitchen, table, 2 chairs (can borrow 2 more if want) camping stove plus gas, plug in cool box, pots and pans, basic cooking utensils, 4x cutlery set plus 4 melamine plates, side plates, bowls, 4 plastic wine glasses, 4 small beakers, 4 metal camping mugs plus picnic cool bag and optional Porta loo.. (you can see it in the pictures and when all in the Boot, folded away)

The van can be plugged in with campsites with electric hook up and we provide U.K / mainland Europe adapters. Please be aware if Wildcamping (No Electric hook up, the 3 pin plug inside the van won't work, but USB and 12V plugs plus integrated lighting will work)

Please note we don’t supply mattress or bedding as personal prefernce how people sleep, sleeping in top section in fine, but would recommend a inflatable / roll mat for rock and roll bed as very firm)

We have a Miniature Schnauzer called Indy who is Bertie's friend, we hope you make friends too (with Bertie) and maybe Indy when pick up Camper too!
