What sort of license do I need to drive the motorhome?
The type of driving licence you need depends upon the type of vehicle you wish to hire. Most vehicles require a type B driving licence (this is the standard licence). However, some of the larger motorhomes advertised on Goboony request a C-type licence.
The type of driving licence you need for each vehicle is located in the description section of the motorhome (under the photos), you can also ask the advertiser if you are unsure.
Make sure to double-check that your licence matches the licence requirements (for a UK licence, refer to the back of the licence) before confirming a booking.

What is the minimum age to hire a motorhome?
The minimum age for using Goboony is 18 years old, below that you are not able to rent a motorhome through our services. You need a driving license, and the motorhome you choose decides which type of driving license is required.
However, the minimum age for renting a specific motorhome varies between the different vehicles, this can be to do with their insurance policy or personal preference. On the listing they'll state the minimum age for renting the vehicle. Have any doubts? Simply ask the Owner in your message or request, they'll be able to let you know whether you're able to rent their vehicle!

How do you guarantee the safety of my payment?
Transferring money via the internet can be quite risky, and so Goboony ensures they follow certain regulations to ensure safety.
- Credit card payments utilise 3D secure, and go through a known payment provider (Mangopay)
- All payments go into a third party account. In the event of Goboony closure or bankruptcy, your payment would be refunded from this account
- The rental fee is paid to the Advertiser 24 hours after you have picked up the vehicle, to ensure reliability
