1. Barn Farm (near Matlock, Derbyshire)
This campsite is ideal for families and even school trips or any other adventure with many people traveling together; it’s located in a vast, beautiful place in nature with plenty of space to run around in and even possibility of encountering some (not dangerous) animals around. There is even a games room with table football and air hockey for colder evenings or rainy days. A night here costs £7.50 for an adult and £3.75 for a child.

2. Britchcombe Farm (near Farringdon, Oxfordshire)
Although this campsite is not the most modern, it is the definition of low-impact camping and the perfect spot for a true getaway into nature; surrounded by absolutely stunning nature, with the possibility of campfires and beautiful views all around, it is the perfect place for family camping! On top of all this, the owners are incredibly helpful and kind and always ready to accommodate you. Adults will pay £6 a night and children £3.

3. The Green Caravan Park (Wentnor, Shropshire)
This beautiful site is located in the Onny Valley and has been run by a family for the past 21 years. Through it runs the East Onny river, but since it is very shallow and slow, it is not dangerous for children. Kids can enjoy paddling on the river and everyone will appreciate the beautiful surroundings. You will pay £14 for a family of four.

4. Coombe View Farm (Devon)
This campsite is about a mile and a half away from the Branscombe beach, a vast, beautiful, pebbly beach perfect for some family fun. The campsite offers a cricket pitch and a lot of space for kids to play games or run around. Closeby, there are cows and ponies the children can watch too. A night here for a family of four costs £16.

5. Cornish Tipi Holiday (near St.Kew, Cornwall)
If you want an unusual, unique camping experience, this campsite is perfect for you. Have you ever dreamt of sleeping in a tepee and having a once in a lifetime experience? Well, now you can! This campsite is equipped with tepees 18ft high, so you and your family will be comfortable. Each tepee is equipped with floor rugs, lanterns, kitchen equipment, camping stove and coolbox! But remember to bring your own sleeping bags. On top of all this, the site is vast and beautiful and has a clear lake in its midst. For a large tent that sleeps four, you will pay £435 a week, which is truly a bargain with what a fun and adventurous holiday you will get out of it!

6. Woodlands Grove Caravan & Camping Park (Devon)
This one is one of the best family friendly campsites around; not only do you get to be in beautiful nature but when staying two nights or more, you also get a free pass to visit the 90 acre leisure park that offers farm and play zones and many fun rides! This campsite has even won an award for the best family campsite in Europe, so you can expect only the best; immaculate bathrooms and showers, laundry rooms and even baby rooms to make camping with toddlers easier for you! 7. Callow Top Holiday Park (Derbyshire)
If you want to try camping a little differently, a little more glamping-like, then this site is the place for you; from outdoor heated pools to a cafe/bar onsite, games field and even a big shop, you won’t miss anything when staying here. You will pay around £17-£34 per night, but it will definitely be worth it!

8. Rosedale Abbey Country Caravan Parks (North Yorkshire)
This beautiful camping spot is part of a national park and includes fun things like rope swings over the river, game fields for football or volleyball and incredibly breathtaking nature all around. This one is perfect for kids that are interested in wildlife and like to play outside and of course includes bathrooms and shower facilities. A pitch here costs from £14 a night.

In this campsite, you will be walking distance from the sea, with a view of the fishing village just under the hill it is situated on.
