North Coast Camper – 4 berth Ford campervan from 2017

North Coast Camper is our Ford Transit Custom LWB Campervan converted to a high specification and quirky colour scheme!

Featuring a solar panel powering a leisure battery and a 240v EHU North Coast Camper will suit on or off grid camping trips. It also has a gas heater so trips don’t need to be confined to the summer months!

North Coast Camper is surprisingly roomy inside so the whole family can enjoy camping trips. There is space to sleep up to 4 people. Two adults comfortably downstairs on the fold out Rock & Roll bed and 2 children upstairs on the pop top bunk however in Winter we would suggest the roof does have to come down in adverse weather which may limit sleeping places.

A fully equipped kitchen comes with a double burner gas hob, kitchen sink and a 50 litre fridge with a freezer compartment. You can enjoy meals or work space at the fold out table inside or alfresco at the collapsible outdoor table which stores away neatly in the rear storage compartment.

North Coast Camper features 240v sockets when connected to a hook up via the provided cable, USB sockets and LED spotlights so camping trips don’t necessarily mean the luxuries have to stay at home!

The van itself features air conditioning for Summer months and heated front seats for Winter months. Other specifications include cruise control, auto lights, auto wipers, Bluetooth, music streaming, DAB digital radio, front and rear parking sensors with reversing camera and electric heated, adjustable and foldable mirrors.

There are optional extras available for hire to make your trip as convenient as possible. These include a bike rack for the tow bar £25 per hire, portable toilet with privacy tent £25 per hire, BBQ (including coals & firelighters) £20 per hire.

We provide cutlery and crockery for four people as well as a kettle, saucepans, plastic wine glasses and cups, camping mugs, 2 x camping chairs, foldable camping table, cooking utensils, bottle opener, can opener, dishcloth, dustpan & brush, fire extinguisher, First Aid kit, general-purpose cleaner, electric hook-up cable, scissors, torch and washing-up liquid. Bedding can be provided at an additional cost of £20 per hire. There are black out curtains in the rear and silver window covers for the windscreen and front windows which provide full privacy and retain warmth.

We are based in the outskirts of Edinburgh in a convenient location just 3.6 miles from Edinburgh Airport or a short train, bus or tram ride from Edinburgh City Centre (Waverly Train Station) You can easily access us from the major motorways without having to drive through the city centre and be straight back on the motorway to head north making North Coast Camper a very easy collection for those wanting to tour the famous NC500! There is also free on street parking if you wish to leave a car but please note we accept no liability for vehicles left on the public road.
