Glastonbury is probably the best known festival in the UK and for good reason! The festival has taken place on Michael Eavis’ farm in Pilton, Somerset since 1970. The first festival had 1500 attendees, cost only £1 and had 5 acts including Marc Bolan. Since then Glastonbury has grown enormously with some of the best names in music playing its many stages and drawing 175,000 attendees! There is not just music, but comedy, dance, theatre and much much more. Tickets sell out really quickly, so it is important to be prepared. The festival takes place at the end of June and tickets go on sale in the Autumn of the year before.
There are motorhome and campervan pitches available but tickets for these are sold separately after the admission ticket sale. Glastonbury campervan hire is one of the best options for your stay at the festival with so much on offer, you are sure to have an unforgettable time! At Goboony we have a great variety of vehicles on offer for festival motorhome hire from our private vehicle owners so you are sure to find the perfect one for you.
