A brilliant introduction to campervan adventures!! Thomas was so helpful, friendly and explained everything thoroughly to us newbies! Sent us various links for recommendations and assured us we could contact him whenever throughout hire. Even allowed us to collect van much earlier, so we were headed off well before planned.
The van was equipped with everything you could possibly need, and extras we didn't even use, such as outdoor chairs and table.
Easy to drive and control, with plenty of space to store and heated up quickly. Hob worked a dream.
Used sites every night, so didn't do off grid, but certainly could do with van as had batteries.
Headed up to Stirling first but got, staying at the very best site - Witches Craig. Set the standards very hire and we're impressed with the modern clean facilities and little touches, which we then thought were standard, but proved wrong when visiting other sites.
Next stop was Glen Nevis camping, which was dated but clean and lovely backdrop of mountains.
Headed up to Cannich Woodland, which was by far the most 'rustic'. Very rough, not particularly clean facilities and very old.
Lovely bar walking distance, Bar Affric, and food looked delicious.
Across to Tain, to pick up our son then headed over to Isle of Skye. In the end, booked 2 nights at camping Skye, as all other sites closed for season.
This was another lovely site, with very good pitches, beautiful backdrop and very equipped.
