I scoured Goboony for a suitable Campervan for my wife, Grandson (8) and myself to enjoy the delights of the West side of the NC500 in August. On reviewing your site we were immediately struck by Woody the Peugeot Boxer van which fitted all our needs. Prior to picking Woody up we spoke on several occasions to Nicola our host and she was friendly and informative and always available to chat to. On picking up Woody at our pre-arranged rv point - Johnstone railway station - which was safe to leave our car and free to park (only in Scotland) !!! On handover Woody was more impressive in the “flesh” than on photo and we were very very pleased with our choice especially as we were Campervan Virgins so it was a huge unknown adventure !!! Woody drove beautifully like a normal car and had enough power when needed to negotiate the Scottish lumps. She was tastefully appointed with individual personal touches ….cushions with welcoming slogans and Woodys name. Woody also came with cutlery, crockery and mugs & glasses along with handy cleaning equipment which we hardly used as we only made “brews” in the van as we were on holiday and didn’t need or want to cook ? Even on the tighter winding Lochinver road Woody was a joy and just wide and long enough not to cause driving issues. We had a very very close encounter with a full grown male stag with full antlers but managed to take evasive action ……phew……our Grandson had said he wanted to see a stag BUT in his own words NOT that close !!!
