We have a beautiful VW T6 California Ocean 7 Speed DSG Automatic 4wd for hire.

Lovely to drive, perfect size for a family trip and coasting around the Scottish countryside. In the City she has you covered with Euro 6 engine so low emission zone compliant.

The sliding rails of the rear bench seat which come as standard with the VW California make a massive difference to the overall journey for any rear seated person.

The VW California is fitted with rails for the trace bench seat meaning passengers can be in close proximity of one another during the journey. We use a similar van ourselves as our day vehicle and have set this hire van up with all our travel knowledge over the last 7 years going with the California as we think the factory setup with the rails and bespoke items is very hard to beat. Bringing the seat forwards also helps position passengers at the centre of the wheels potentially helping those that may be prone to travel sickness.

The sliding rails also ensures you can optimise your space so that the rear space is used for luggage and is behind the passengers and is a notable point of design difference vs typical Campervan conversions.

With Cruise Control, Climatic Zone Heating, Multi Function Steering Wheel, Digital Cockpit, Driver Alert System, Airbags, Parking Sensors, Reversing Camera, Electric Windows, Tinted Rear Windows, Auxiliary Heater, Privacy Blinds and fully supplied kitchen. Heated front window screen should you encounter a chilly Scottish night.

The van has an optional tow bar and is fitted with roof rails should a surf board be going on your journey. We love coffee so have added some unique touches there too.

The Touch Screen headset has Apps Connect and DAB Radio.

The Hydraulic Roof raises at the press of a button. Lifting the Upper Bed then gives you room to stand in the cabin should you wish. Spin the captain front seats and you have an airy living space to relax in and enjoy family / friend time together.

The auxiliary heater runs off the Diesel tank so can be used on the fly when parked up as you require of an evening or overnight. When it is sunny a carefully stored table and 2 chairs are fitted within the van for your convenience for outdoor use. Of course the signature California awning also provides a means of shade or shelter.

The T6 California Ocean comfortably sleeps two adults and two children. Simply pull forward the bench seat, fold down the seat back and set out your bedding for a perfect nights sleep. The privacy blinds on all the windows slide easily into place and a thermal cover is provided for the front 3 screens for additional warmth. For bedding we provide luxury mattress toppers with cover sheets (linens) for both beds as standard.

We can also provide extras luxury bedding, towels as an add on.

A two ring gas hob, tap and sink, 42 litre fridge, cupboards and pull out table are integrated into the space. We love the California for its design simplicity everything considered in a smart and efficient way to truly make it a home from home.

As mentioned we equip the kitchen with all the key things you might need. We provide a gas bottle for the interior cooker. You may also hire a Cobb Oven from us. We will fill the water tank with fresh tap water before your hire on request.

The Cabin is lit by multiple LED lights, with USB charging points, a 12v socket to charge laptops and battery packs and a 230v socket for when you are hooked to campsite electricity.

Additionally we have SUP boards for an additional hire fee should this be desired. We have beautiful lochs nearby and this is a popular choice.

With mountains, coast, castles, whisky trails and the NC 500 all in close vicinity we expect this beautiful van to be a popular choice.

Note we are in close proximity to the city centre of Aberdeen in a residential area. There is free nearby street parking around us and we are located around a 20 minute drive from the airport and a 20 minute walk to the bus, train and ferry terminals.

Any points of driver above 3 points needs to be checked prior with insurance company
Insurance requires certain informations to be collected prior to rental; this includes Driving licence, proof of address (2 off we provide details on specifics) and DVLA check.
Confirmation of any driving convictions and any insurance / claims also sought.
