Ollie – VW Camper

we are husband and wife who have owned Ollie for 5 yeras.
Ollie is our much-loved classic VW Devon Moonraker conversion 1978.
remember he’s 40 plus now and can take a little bit of get used to, once you get going you will be rolling down the roads, its, 2000cc engine will purr along up to 60mph.
He has been fully renovated, new seating throughout, including the rock and roll bench seat which has 2 seat belts and a fold down buddy seat, so in total it accommodates 5 but only sleeps 4.
There is a table to put up inside.
There is everything you will need to make a lovely meal from ingredients you may buy on your travels: Pots, pans, plates, cups, kettle, cutlery etc.
Loads of storage for your belongings and bedding.
We will provide a bottom sheet for both double bed and top bed, just bring your own duvet/pillow, or sleeping bags. Up in the pop-top there is enough room in the sleeping compartment for an extra 2.
We also supply cleaning products and washing up equipment, so no need to bring those.
In the Kitchen area we include:
2 burner gas hob + grill
Sink
Water tank and dirty water tank -not used for drinking water
Small electric fridge.
Electric hook-up with cables
Small 2kw fan heater
2 camp chairs- (more can be supplied if required)
torch, so you can always find your way back from the toilet.
Bike rack for 2 bikes- (Can be included).
Pets are welcome (as long as they are well behaved) £20 supplement per rental.
National breakdown cover is included in the rental.
We are based in south Manchester. Our nearest tram stop is Martinscroft, the camper is stored in a secure lockup where you can also leave your car while you hire the camper.
You will need to arrange insurance before booking, so please contact us so we can guide you. It’s a simple process.
We have had some amazing adventures in Ollie, it’s a wonderful slow pace way to travel and take in our beautiful country.
