I can’t thank Amanda and Mike enough for making our first motorhome experience so positive. From the outset, communication was excellent with guides and videos shared before we collected Valerie, and it was easy to contact them when we were away and needed support in using the amenities. Just before our trip, I had a nightmare with a hire car situation, but Mike was so helpful in sorting things out for us.
We travelled to the Isle of Skye which was a bit ambitious for our first trip, but Valerie had everything we needed. Our dog had the best time travelling around, and we appreciated being able to have him in the van with us.
We would definitely recommend Valerie to anyone who is looking to experience van life for a week or two! Thank you both xx

Valerie was a very comfortable, well stocked van. There were a few issues with the van. We were told that it was full of water and it was almost empty. We then had to purchase a special container and had to manually fill her. As we were off grid there was no means of emptying waste water when it was full. Though we eventually found a way of doing this manually. Finally, there was a problem with the side door as the catch and lock failed completely. Overall though it was extremely comfortable and clean. If the problems were rectified we would definitely hire again

I’m sorry to hear that you experienced some issues with the motorhome. We usually ask whether people would like the water tank filled in advance as it can increase fuel consumption but apologies if this didn’t happen. As notified upon your return there was no issue with the door except that you were attempting to close it having already turned the lock which prevented it from shutting. As with all motorhomes the onboard tanks do require visits to service points to fill and empty as required. I’m glad that this didn’t spoil your break!

We hired Valerie for a week and absolutely loved it! Amanda and Mike were extremely helpful, the van had everything we needed, they gave us loads of advice and tips too. We were relatively new to using a camper but the whole experience and trip was fantastic, we will definitely do this again.
We had never been in a moterhome before so didn't really know what to expect. We travelled to Cornwall in Valerie
and loved it, very convenient to use and park.
Vidios and instructions were really useful. Would recommend doing this once in a lifetime, but need a holiday to get over the walking.

Fantastic motor home! It was bright, modern and easy to drive. Communication throughout the booking process was quick with all questions answered thoroughly. The welcome pack had clear instructions on how to use different features such as electricity and gas. We would definitely hire from Amanda again.
It was my 1st experience of using a motorhome and Valerie was a great. She had all the facilities as advertised and drove well. I found the bed a little small and the shower did not get warm, but I believe this was because I took it to a festival with no electrical hook-up. The owners were fantastic to deal with. I would definitely recommend.

We hired Valerie a “ much loved” motor home for our 2 week trip around Scottish Highlands. However Valerie did come with a list of faults! These being broken water filler cap thus spilling out the fresh water whilst driving, leaking shower tap in the toilet enough so we had to turn off the water pump after using the taps, and also a starting issue with the engine. It was pot luck if she would start first time. This rarely happened….. a breakdown wait to happen?
There was also a wheel trim missing and the motorhome had been not been cleaned particularly well. There was medication on paperwork relating to the previous hirer left in the van. Clearly Valerie didn’t appear as loved at it stated in her advert. This did disappoint us somewhat but it never stopped us enjoying our holiday.

We had a lovely few days away in Valerie, even in October. Very comfortable and well laid out, with lots of nice little touches and well organised by Amanda and Mike. A few minor niggles like the waste water indicator playing up (occasionally showing full after it was emptied) but overall very good. Maggie the Border Collie wasn't a big fan but got more used to it after a while. Would definitely book again!
