I had lived in Mo for 3 years and had many adventures. NC500, Yorkshire, Wales, South West France, The Alps and North Italy. My home has proved to be a comfortable drive and a relaxing place to stay, In many off grid locations.
There's an efficient diesel heater for cosy evenings in the winter. And the water tank is located in the vast garage area to prevent freezing. There's plenty of power generated via 400w of solar panels feeding 2 beefy 200ah lithium leisure batteries.
Mo lends himself to couples with perhaps 1 small child or small dog. That like to travel with their sporting interests. The garage under the bed is vast. Plenty of room for bikes, Scooters, kyacks, surfboards or paragliding equipment. All securely stowed inside the van!
The large double bed is accessed via a short ladder from the kitchenette. Making Mo unsuitable for people with mobility issues. All the blinds are thermal and blackout. Ideal for both comfort and stealth parking. Mo has lots of home from home comforts. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge including a small freezer compartment, a two ring hob and a sink. There is a toilet including shower and a bathroom cabinet. A gas water heater for washing up or hot showers. And a cosy L shape sofa and dining area.
Now some businessey stuff.......... **Please pay attention to the following**..........
2025 was my first year renting Mo to other travellers. It has been a steep learning curve.
Most of the the damage or issues that have occurred while on hire have been due to people not paying attention during the handover process. I completely understand you are excited by your trip. But Handover will not be rushed. It takes approx 1 hour to go through everything properly. Please avoid embarrassment for your return. By taking note and allowing time at the start. I am not going to permit the handover of keys until I am satisfied enough attention has been paid. School runs and other excuses for rushing are not accepted.
Whilst Mo is in your care I expect him to be treated gently and with care. He's getting old......... and the very nature of being a motor home, fixtures and fittings will not be as robust as the ones you have at home.
I want Mo's guests to have fun. And am prepared to let him attend festivals. However heady you intend to get....... Please remember that you have a duty to take care of Mo primarily. I don't want to Stop Festival Use. Please also bear in mind the stress for me to fix breakages between customers. Your gentle approach to staying in Mo will be greatfully appreciated by the next customer after you.
How would you expect to find mo when you collect? That is how I need him returned........... One thing I hate when booking something is a string of unnecessary fees. So I think simplicity is key! I don't charge a cleaning fee. Please return Mo clean on the inside. Even if it means you have to book an extra day to do so! I supply a sheet, pillows and T towel. Please take your own quilt and other towels. I will clean and replenish the bedding and T towel after your stay.
I don't expect you to wash the outside. I like to do that.
If you need extra bedding or towels because you are travelling to the UK from overseas. I am very happy to help out. I don't expect you to drag all of that with you. (Especially with airline luggage charges the way they are)! Let me know in your messaging if you need extra requirements.
I work full time during the week and occasional Saturdays. So most of the time i need to hand over and receive Mo back in the evening or weekend. For the insurance to cover, you may need to book the day before you need. So you can collect in the evening before. If this is the case I will adjust the rental fee down, by a day, when your booking request comes through. I do have occasional days off in the week. Give me a shout and ill do my best to accommodate your needs.
All communication needs to be via this site or app. Until payment has been made and the hire agreement drawn up. My phone number is made available on the Agreement.
Ranty bit done!
You can leave a vehicle at my address. At your own risk. You will need to leave me a key.
Most importantly I want you to enjoy your road trip, for whatever reason. Please let me know if you need anything specific to enhance your comfort while you are away!
Happy Driving!
