My wife and I just returned after a seven day trip from Ipswich to Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. We hired Daisy and had a wonderful trip, we even found ourselves missing her when handing her back 😊 The initial handover was very thorough, which we appreciated, although it did take longer than expected as we asked for an earlier pick-up of 1pm instead of standard 3pm, but with everything that needed explaining we didn’t set off until 2:15pm but the detailed handover meant we felt confident plus Julia & Robin were always quick to respond on the phone if we had any questions throughout the week. Daisy is 26 years old and full of character. She’s not built for speed, but once we settled into her pace (around 60mph on the motorway), she carried us 777 miles without fuss and delivered an impressive 36mpg. Like most vans, she has her limits on steep hills so avoiding those, she never let us down. Inside, Daisy is compact but surprisingly well equipped. We could stand up inside, though space is tight and moving around takes a bit of manoeuvring. Sleeping was fine cosy but comfortable and although we didn’t use them, there are several heating options. The fridge can be run on gas or external electric hookup, which was handy. There’s also a toilet with the usual flush and disposable tank system plus shower (which we didn’t use this time as we stayed on friends ground and used their facilities). Daisy comes stocked with pretty much everything you could think of, from cutlery, chairs to board games and even outdoor games. We found we didn’t end up using most of it including the mounted TV which we did use once by simply plugging in our firestick for Netflix whilst tethering the phone. But if not required and to save weight/fuel economy, it might be worth leaving a few of those extras behind. There’s also a big folder in the passengers door with information/diagrams with further important info of dimensions etc behind the driver’s visor. All in all, Daisy gave us a great adventure. She’s reliable, quirky, and has everything you need for a campervan holiday. Campervan hire can be costly with sites like goboony adding a big chunk on but we wanted the cheaper more cost effective price range for what we needed it for and believe we did pretty well in our selection. Julia & Robin were friendly and supportive hosts, and we’d happily recommend Daisy to anyone looking for a fun and memorable trip as we will surely be doing again in the near future. Julia and Robin were very helpful and both changeovers went smoothly. Daizy is certainly a van with character. Clean, comfortable and well equipped, an excellent first experience in a camper van. Sleeping and access for the slightly creaky fuller figure was a challenge but otherwise a lovely trip. We would recommend her May 2025

Lasy Daizy perfect for our trip to Suffolk and Norfolk. Certainly built for comfort not for speed and that suited us just fine. Pick up and drop off in Ipswich was easy. Super informative and relaxed hosts. Daisy is well equipped with all cooking paraphernalia which was used in earnest. Solar panel keeps the leisure battery topped up and there is a gas option for the fridge..In short all eventualities are covered. Because our trip was short we did not use on board shower but it would be ideal for longer more off-grid trips. We would certainly book again if we’re ever in Suffolk region for a holiday. The van was very clean and presentable and well equipped. We had an enjoyable four day break staying at Walnut Farm in Norfolk. Just a little cramped for our old creaky and not so flexible bodies but fine for younger travellers I would expect. Julia and her husband were very helpful and friendly, showing us how everything in the van worked and taking us for a trial drive. Very efficient handover both outward and return. Well recommended! Julia is a great host. Explained everything before we set off and allowed us to park on the drive. Lazy Daisy is a lovely van and well equipped - cooker, fridge, toilet and sink all working. Great design and use of space and storage. All utensils you might ever need are provided as well as extras like foil, cling film and a welcome pack with tea bags, coffee, condiments included. The bed was very comfortable and easy to assemble. There were other extras including cycle rack which worked well. Awning could be provided but we didn’t need it. All in all an excellent trip. This was our first time using Goboony but it was a pleasant experience overall. Julia and her husband are a lovely, friendly couple, who helped us with the whole process. Lazy daisy was a comfortable, cosy, clean, well equipped motorhome, which was perfect for our long weekend away. September 2021
