A fabulous van that fully met our needs. Jason was a patient & informative owner who was available to answer all our questions. Would highly recommend. October 2026

The van is absolutely perfect. We hired the beast for 10 days and not once did it let us down. The shower and cooker set up wasn’t used, we used the outside shower and brought a stove with us so we didn’t disrupt the massive bed. If you have more patience than me you’ll be fine. It has everything you need and the comfort is 10/10 word to the wise! If you are travelling in midge season invest in a hand held zapper. Van was perfect. Didn’t have to contact the owner about anything. It had a comprehensive folder that explains. Never got down to less than 50% power. This van has convinced my hubby to invest in our own. Thank you Jason September 2026

Response from Jason Thanks so much, Mark. Really pleased you had such a great 10 days away and that the van looked after you so well. It’s especially nice to hear you found it comfortable and well equipped — and even better that it’s convinced you to look at getting a campervan of your own! Thanks again for taking the time to leave such a lovely review, and you’d be very welcome back anytime. Jason

We experienced two amazing weeks driving through all of Scotland in this van! Even though we had little camping experience, we had no trouble staying comfortable and using any of the many amenities provided (from apple car play to the shower). The van was well layed out as well. I would recommend this van, especially if you want to hop around and stay off grid. July 2026

Response from Jason Thank you so much, Iris. It’s lovely to hear that you had such a fantastic two weeks exploring Scotland and that the van made your first proper camping adventure comfortable and easy. The photo is brilliant too — exactly the sort of place the van was built to take you! Thank you for looking after it so well, and we’d be delighted to welcome you back for another adventure anytime. I had the sprinter for 5 days in Silverstone and it was a lovely little place to stay! I’m only in my early 20’s and I found the camper easy to drive and use! Everything was explained in good detail so we knew what we were doing and made the transaction feel a lot less stressful. Will be using again next year :) July 2026

Response from Jason Thanks so much, Megan. Really pleased you enjoyed your five days at Silverstone and found the Sprinter easy to drive and use. We always try to make the handover as straightforward as possible, particularly for anyone new to campervans, so it’s lovely to hear that it helped. Thank you for looking after the van so well, and we’ll look forward to seeing you again for Silverstone next year! Jason

My partner, Luna (our dog), and I spent five days road-tripping along the west coast of the NC500, and we had the best time. We hired a Mercedes Sprinter from Jason, which we named “Bonnie” for the week. When we picked it up, it was immaculate, and the check-in process only took around 20 minutes. Everything was clearly explained. The van itself was in excellent condition and easy to drive. It was also fully equipped with everything we needed, from pots and pans to all the utensils for cooking homemade meals. There was even a shower hose at the back, which came in very handy after trips to the beach. The converter and heater were straightforward to use, and Jason provided a helpful folder with instructions and troubleshooting tips, which was a great touch. Dropping the van back off was just as easy, the check-out process was quick and hassle-free. Afterwards, we went for lunch and coffee at Jason’s coffee shop and his wonderful emporium of house, garden, and furniture items, Simply Dutch. We had an incredible experience and would absolutely book again. Thank you so much, Jason! April 2026

Response from Jason Thank you, Charlotte, for such a wonderful review. It was a pleasure meeting you, your partner and, of course, Luna! I’m delighted to hear that you had such a great time exploring the west coast of the NC500 and that “Bonnie” helped make the trip a memorable one. Thank you for looking after the van so well and returning it in immaculate condition. It was a pleasure hosting you, and I’m glad the information folder, equipment and little extras helped make your adventure that bit easier. It was also lovely to welcome you to Simply Dutch after your trip. We’re so pleased you enjoyed your time with us, both on the road and back at base. You’re welcome back anytime, and we’d be delighted to see you, your partner and Luna again for another adventure in the future. Best wishes, Jason

This van has been a gem, taking me to the lakes, the beach, the forest, the lochs , northberland and the Pennines in wet conditions and has handled the road fantastic with the all weather Tyres. All off grid effortlessly. We stretched the water out too. Pick up was smooth with safe and ample parking for my car and Emily was friendly helpful. The van has so much space for all my over packing , outdoor stuff included and the golf clubs with great storage solutions inside and I particular like the over bed clothes nets for getting dressed in the morning. The bed was comfy, the kitchen had everything apart from a tin opener which I packed and a bottle opener which I didn’t! We didn’t heat the water in the first day driving but soon worked it out. The heater was quiet and cosy. The seats to swivel are abit stick and better to do with doors open and once you get the knack are easy. The dining table is also quick and easy. The van was economical on diesel too. Jason was flexible with pick up and drop off which help the mile management through the journey. Will be hiring again. November 2025

Response from Jason Thanks for the lovely review Gemma. You'll be pleased to know I rushed out and purchased replacement Tin Openers and Bottle Openers this morning ;-) and spares! We've got the other van in the workshops this week, so hopefully you'll have a choice for your next trip! Many thanks for being a great customer. Jason

A great adventure in this well equipped campervan. Super helpful owner who has thought of everything. We were able to spend a week off-grid and visit some amazing places. We would hire again. September 2025

Response from Jason Lovely review Lorraine. Many thanks for taking the time to post the wonderful pictures. It makes me so happy to have provided a van that makes memories for you both. Jason

Me and the Mrs had a great time doing the Scotland NC500 in Jason’s Mercedes Slrinter van. Rear wheel drive with off road tires made it a very capable machine and handled the roads very well. I would recommend Jason and his camper to anyone trying out Goboony especially because his communication was great and he was able to answer any on the road questions. September 2025

Response from Jason Thanks so much, Adam! I’m really pleased you and your wife enjoyed the NC500 in the Sprinter. It’s great to hear the van handled the roads so well and that you found everything you needed along the way. You were a brilliant guest — easy to communicate with and looked after the van perfectly. I’d be more than happy to rent to you again anytime.
