McLouis is a van with lots of modern features. It was newly registered in June 2025 with 8 speed automatic gearbox, cruise control, cabin air conditioning , all making this incredibly easy to drive and very comfortable. Due to the ingenuous drop-down beds, this compact van gives users 2 sitting areas, with the added benefit that three of the beds are already made up without any hassle at night time. The fourth bed is located under the double bed.
This van is perfect for a couple or for a family of three or four, and has 4 belted seatbelts. Well-behaved dogs are allowed to travel too (please discuss your requirements with us).
We are situated in Chorley, Lancashire, which is a great location to access many tourist locations via the motorway network (one hour to Wales, Blackpool, Lakes, Yorkshire, and two hours to Scotland).

We are happy for you to tour the length and breadth of the UK if you wish (outside the UK by arrangement).
We are located within distance of both Leeds/Bradford (LBA), Manchester (MAN) and Liverpool (LPL) airports. MAN – less than one hour, LPL and LBA – less than two hours.
Insurance
Insurance is organised with Goboony at the time of your booking.
Pick-up and drop-off times are 3pm (pick-up) and 11am (drop-off), but we can be flexible about this with enough notice.
BEDDING and TOWELS
Are supplied with the vehicle.
Accidents happen, so any bedding, linens, towels etc that are not returned in a useable condition will be charged only a replacement fee.
PARKING
Hirers may leave their car on our driveway for the duration of your hire. Location is very secure with CCTV monitoring and another vehicle blocking in your car. This service is FREE to hirers. We ask that you leave the key to your vehicle with us in the unlikely event your vehicle needs moving.
FUEL, GAS AND WATER
DIESEL Fuel tank is supplied full on collection, and fuel tank should be returned with a full tank of DIESEL. If you are unable to return vehicle with a full tank, don't worry, we will top up the fuel and just charge you for the cost from the fuel station. This will only be for fuel
Fresh WATER tank will be full on collection, waste will be empty. Waste water and toilet cassette should be empty on return of McLouis. An additional cost of £30 is applied for toilet cassette drain-down.
GAS is supplied in 2x 6kg bottles. One will be full. We ask that empty bottles are replaced so that there is always one full bottle on return of van for the next hirer.
TOWING and BIKE RACK
The van is fitted with a towbar with a maximum load of 2000kg, but cannot be used if you require use of our bike rack, which fixes to the tow bar. Please discuss your requirements before towing as there may be additional stipulations from the insurers to consider.
BIKE RACK is a high quality THULE 3 bike system, fixed to towbar, rated to take adult electric bikes. It is possible to use this system with 2 adult bikes and 2 child's bikes by fastening the child bikes to each other, or 3 adult bikes with ease. If you do not need the bike rack, please let us know and we will take it off.
WINTER USE - Winter tyres are fitted.
These McLouis 330 vans are superb in winter conditions due to the way that the water system is contained in the vehicle. The heated floor and exceptional insulation make this a very effective winter van without the usual frosting of pipes. However, if you allow the internal of the van to drop below 4 degrees, the automatic drain-down will kick in to protect the boiler (no drama, you just safely lose a lot of water). If you are hiring for winter use, please discuss your requirements during the booking process.
