The Golden Ticket – *UNIQUE* Nissan Homy modern retro campervan for the simple life

Tough, tender, and a LOT of fun, the Golden Ticket is super original and is perfect for camping sites.

You will probably not see another Homy on the road, so if you value quirkiness and would like a totally unique vehicle with a lot of heart, the Golden Ticket is for you!

We've kept the campervan as simple as possible, by keeping the bed up permanently, which increased storage substantially.

The bed is a SUPER COMFY memory foam mattress, and we can supply quilt, cover, sheet and pillows for x2 if you require them, at no extra cost. Please bring your own towels.

***PLEASE NOTE that because our Homy is a classic, you will need to get out short term insurance for the van yourself. We will provide our recommended insurer (Just Kampers), and all the details you'll need to make the booking as simple as possible. Proof of insurance is required 7 days before the booking's start date, but we recommend you sorting it out before I accept the booking, since there are certain limitations.

You'll need to have had a UK license for at least 2 years, be over the age of 25, and have no limitations imposed upon it, so no points etc***

The vehicle has five seatbelts; I recommend four people max. The rear seatbelts are lap belts only, so if you have a child's car seat, it is advised to go in the front. Please check the compatibility with your car seat.

My friend and I bought it to fulfil our need for adventure, and to look good doing it! We are testing the water by seeing how renting it out will work alongside continuing to use it ourselves. We adore the Golden Ticket and treat it very well- anyone who would like to rent out from us should bear in mind that we are not a business, and would ask that you treat it as a precious possession of your own. It's a Japanese import and 30 years old, so sourcing and purchasing parts is no mean feat, so we ask for R-E-S-P-E-C-T. It's not a mean, speedy machine, despite its rugged looks.

The drive is so enjoyable, and it has a short wheel base so it fits into normal car park spaces.

The vehicle is 30 years old, and we have kept most of the original interior, so as expected, it is not the same as renting out a brand new vehicle, so please bear this in mind. It is a retro vehicle with some quirks, but it is a solid and well-built vehicle built to last with loving care. Parts are hard to replace, and costs arising from damage to the interior will come off the deposit, and cost more than they would be with a standard camper.
