We hired Whiskey for a four day itinerant road trip of North Wales. This was our first outing in a camper van and we loved it. We only planned a few things and ambled from stormy cliffs, to sandy beaches to mountain lakes just going with the flow. We will definitely be doing it again. Whiskey was well appointed, my kids (10 and 12) loved the camp attic as they named their bedspace in the roof. She coped with the narrow and steep mountain passes with ease, and flew down the motorway on the quick way home. The only thing I would change would be the campsites I chose. I wished I had spoken to Grant before I booked them as he has a wealth of experience in this field - we ended up in family friendly (noisy) campsites, but talking to Grant on our return he was able to point us to better suited sites for next time. We had a fantastic time in Whisky – she took us to Cornwall for a few days in half-term and we found her to be extremely comfortable and well equipped (fridge, gas hob, sink, tables, chairs, awning etc.). Our daughter loved the pop-top and I was very grateful for the heater which we only needed to use for a couple of minutes each night to keep the van toasty. The owners are so kind – they even provided us with their own dog’s bed so that our dog would be comfy at night (he loved it!). The shower head around the back of the van was perfect for rinsing off sandy toes. We would thoroughly recommend hiring this van – it was superb! June 2022
