VW Campervan with PopTop in Dorset

We love our VW van with pop top and roof bars, which is perfect for family adventures and camping. It’s a 5 seater, diesel van, which has been professionally converted.

Cabin
=====

Swivel Bench Seat
Bench seat with under-seat storage allows 3x people to sit up front and enjoy the view! (including driver). There are two more seats with full seat belts in the back.

iphone Mount
No inbuilt GPS, but there is a magnetic phone holder which is compatible with the newer iPhones which use MagSafe.

Sound System
The van is fitted with a sound system with speakers fitted under the rear seats to provide good sound quality for music. You can play your own music with Bluetooth, Aux or SD card, or use the radio.

Suitable for Child Seat
There is no Isofix, but the seatbelts can be used to secure a child carseat, either on the rear seats or on the bench seat at the front (although this will make the other passenger seat a little cramped). If using a rear facing car seat in the front of the van, the passenger airbag will need to be disabled.

Storage
Glove box, cup holders on dash and under-seat storage.

Home Area
========

Sleeping
The back seats fold into a rock 'n' roll bed. We like to put a duvet over this to sleep on, so we'll provide one, but bring your own pillows and sleeping bags. The rooftop bed is carpeted board, but we will provide a pair of self-inflating mats.

Kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove with two rings, a small sink, a fridge with ice box, cutlery drawer, other drawer, under sink cupboard, food cupboard with shelf and an eye-level cupboard for tea, coffee, cups etc.

Under sink cupboard contains 2 saucepans with lids, a Scan Pan frying pan, a kettle, 2 chopping boards, a Ridgemonkey grill (look it up!) for toasties or grilling meat/veggies, a silicon salad spinner (which doubles as a mixing bowel and colander).

The cutlery drawer holds knives, forks, spoons, lighter and the other drawer holds foil, spatulas, knives, peeler, scissors, corkscrew. In the food cupboard you will find cooking oil and hand soap.

Dinette
There is a small folding table which hooks onto the side of the kitchen unit.

Extra Facilities
==========
Space inside the van is somewhat limited, we recommend only taking the additional facilities you desire.

The following facilities are available on request.

External Camping Table and Chairs { OPTIONAL }
We have 5 basic camping chairs and a folding table (in a bag). The van has a small fold out table though this can only be used inside the van.

Battery Powered Shower { OPTIONAL }
If you intend to shower alfresco we can include a pop up privacy / shower tent, solar water barrel and bucket plus a small battery powered shower.

Porta Potty { OPTIONAL - £20 CHARGE }
If you wish we can include a chemical toilet with chemicals and pop-up toilet tent (it’s definitely best used outside the van). This stows neatly underneath the back seating.

Awning { OPTIONAL - £20 CHARGE }
We can include an awning with air beams and pump. This is great if you want extra room when you’re camped in the same spot for a few nights.

Off Grid Camping
============
The leisure battery will power the fridge for a couple of days. Under the sink there is a 15L water container that feeds the tap, the sink drains out of the vehicle, you will also find a second water storage vessel 10L for storing drinking water. The van walls are insulated, the rear windows are tinted and posess curtains for privacy. We can include a camping toilet, camping table & chairs and outside shower if desired. We currently do not have levelling chocks.

Our Location
=========
We are located slightly in-land from Poole, this puts us within easy reach of the beaches, the New Forest and Jurassic Coast. We’re just a few minutes drive away from Poole, with ferry connections to France and the Channel Islands. We are 2-3 hours from Devon and Cornwall.

While you are exploring we are happy for you to park your car on our driveway if needed.
