Stunning, well equipped VW T5 long wheelbase! – Unique luxury and style!

We have owned and loved our long wheelbase T5 campervan for four years now. Lovingly built by Ben at Expedition Campers (who never builds two the same!) It is incredibly well appointed, unique in its style, luxurious, well fitted out, warm, cosy and reliable. Since buying it I have added additional lights, a night heater ( diesel) and additional battery capacity for those long wild camping trips. All the fittings are high end. Dometic fridge, hob, grill and sink.
The sink is piped to a 15 litre water tank filled externally...no Jerry can type systems in this camper and the tap is electric. It is fitted with a Dometic wind out awning for those sunny days.
Internally it has a rock and roll bed that has a really thick mattress, rotational front passenger seat and a clip on table.
As we go off grid I have added additional safety aids such as spare starter battery, jump pack and jump leads and all the tools needed to deal easily with a puncture! The camper has a first aid kit, a CO meter/ alarm and a fire extinguisher. The spare wheel is genuine VW and unlike most vans, actually matches the ones on the vehicle. It is fully kitted out with cutlery and crockery, all the necessary glasses and bits and pieces needed for an evening eating under the stars. There is also a drive away awning with carpet, levelling ramps, a fan heater if using hook up, a portaloo with chemicals if wild camping and a towbar and towbar mounted double bike carrier. The carrier and drive away awning are available on request (small additional charge for the awning & carpet, portaloo and bike rack. please ask). The camper also has two folding chairs, a pack away table, small barbecue, foldaway firepit and two sets of window blinds, one thermal set and one blackout. Our van has a fully waterproofed canvas pop up lid with three windows, and an additional sleeping area in the pop up including inbuilt mattress suitable for two small children or one adult. An additional self inflating airbed is available also. It is fitted with ample mains outlets, has a good long mains hook up cable and USB charger points. The lighting is touch control LED and 2 reading lamps have been fitted for those late night cosy reading sessions under the duvet! Being a long wheelbase you benefit from extra room and storage space. The cab has a sat nav fitted and touch screen audio system with Bluetooth capabilities. The engine has been professionally re mapped to increase torque and give better fuel consumption. I am a motor mechanic so keep the vehicle fully serviced and maintained. MOT passed 25/03/2022. Serviced on 28/03/2022. On a recent trip to Scotland's NE corner I averaged 42 miles to the gallon. Using our camper you will want for nothing.
