Renault Traffic 2 Berth Caper van

This is our professionally converted camper van.

We have the van for family holidays and weekend trips but would like to give others the opportunity to hire the van to enjoy some holidays like we do, the van is very well laid out and has plenty of storage.

There are 2 fully leather seats in the front which are super comfy for them long drives.

In the rear of the van is a Rock and roll bed which is stored in a seating position and is big enough or 2 people to sit on this then converts easily into a bed big enough for 2 people. The bed measures 6ft long and 3ft 7 inches wide.

The kitchen area is fitted with a sink with running (cold) water and a two-burner gas hob. We have fitted out the kitchen with all pots and pans, crockery and cutlery you will need for up to 4 people, there is also a electric cool box which runs of the power in the back.

The leisure battery has a meter so you can keep an eye on the charge level but on normal usage you can expect 3 days life from the battery. The battery is charged up when the engine is running so if you are touring/ sight-seeing you have no need to worry about the battery going flat. If you are stopping off for more than a day there is a solar panel found in the back which attaches easily in the rear of the van to keep the battery powered. (we just ask that this is un plugged before starting the van as this can damage the battery)

There is a blackout blind that attaches to the passenger door and runs across the windscreen and around to the drivers door which is brilliant at night and for when you are parked up to stop the heat in the van. The rear windows are fitted with tinted glass to stop people seeing in but allow you to see out there are also black out binds for all the windows allowing complete darkness and privacy in the van.

Under the bed in the rear of the van you will find a driveway tent which attaches to the side of the camper allowing you to have an extra 2 people sleep or you can set up a small sitting area, or extra cooking space or just somewhere to keep you out of the rain if needed, being a driveway tent you can leave this up at the campsite and go out for the day in the van.

In the kitchen area there is a fire blanket, fire extinguisher.

Under the bed you will find a diesel heater which will heat the van in a matter on minutes and keep the van warm, for the safety of you and others we ask that you don't leave this on over night, there is a carbon dioxide metre in the van which will be checked before you leave.

This camper van is very economical averaging around 45MPG, easy to drive and is great fun whether you are travelling through cities or out in the countryside. we recently completed a trip from Surrey to the lake district plus 3 days of driving around and home on 1 full tank, this trip is around 1000miles.

Pets will be considered, however this needs to be booked in advance with an additional fee of £25 per booking which needs to be paid on collection of the vehicle this is for extra cleaning on return.

As an extra precaution, before and after all bookings the camper will be fully cleaned with anti-bacterial cleaner and all carpets, seats and cushions will be steam cleaned and sanitised.

The van will have a fully tank of fuel when you set off and we ask that this is the same when you return the van.

A full inventory and vehicle inspection will be carried out when you collect the vehicle and when you return, any damage or missing items will be deducted from your deposit.

We ensure the van is clean, tidy and fresh for you upon collection so please ensure you return it in the same condition.

Collection we note that a lot of camper hire is collection form the afternoon and drop off early, we like to be a little different and therefore try our best to block the van out for the day before you start your trip so you can collect the van from as early as 8am we will also not let the van go out to the next person on the same day you come allowing you to make the most of the day and return the van on as late as 5pm. there will be the very rare occasion in hight of season when we are unable to do this but we will let you know at the time of your request, if this is the case collection is 1pm and drop off will be 11, this allows us time to clean the van prior to the next traveller.

Bedding

We will provide a double duvet and cover and 2 pillows.

In the van you will also find a bike rack for 4 bikes
2 single person best way inflatable kyakes and pump and paddles.

DO’s
Please treat my van with respect at all times.
Please return the vehicle clean, and fully refuelled.

DON’T's
the van is a non smoking van please do not smoke inside the vehicle.
please do not leave the hob unattended.
Do not Drive too fast – although this van is very easy to drive, and does reach speeds of 80mph and over without problem, any speeding tickets or fines will be sent to you to pay, please drive responsibly.
Do not drive under the influence of any drugs or alcohol.
please do not use the hob for heating. This is how people get carbon monoxide poisoning.
please do not leave the solar panel connected and start the engine this will break the solar panel and the leisure battery, this will then be charged from your deposit.

We use Goboony insurance which will be added to every booking at the time of the booking you will be asked for the details of the driver and Goboony will provide you a quote. Goboony insurance will also cover breakdowns and replacement vehicle as well. Goboony insurance is between £10 and £20 a day.
