Here you will find a spacious queen-size bed, a bathroom with a full shower and toilet, an L-shaped kitchen with a large refrigerator, a seating area with 2 captains chairs, a 1-seater sofa and a 2-seater sofa.
During the day, the queen-size bed turns into a lovely lounge sofa.
In addition to the queen-size bed, a sleeping place (up to 160 cm long) can be created in the dinette. And for the real campers (or for the kids!), there are also 2 sleeping places in a sleeping tent* under the awning, in addition to the camper.

It is not without reason that we have come to Hymer. This brand has been at the top for more than 65 years and that quality convinced us: German solidity!
In addition, this Hymer is built on a comfortable independently sprung AL-KO chassis. Together with the 16 inch alloy wheels and the tuned Fiat engine with a capacity of 160 hp, it drives wonderfully.
And also not unimportant for your safety: this camper with a load capacity of 700 kg. really stays under 3,500 kg.

And then it is also economical: cooking on LPG and a tuned engine. This Hymer keeps your holiday affordable. The Fiat Ducato diesel engine and the Hymer streamlining allow a consumption of only 7 liters per 100 km (1:14).
No hassle with expensive gas bottles: simply fill up with LPG at the pump and cook, cool and heat cheaply.

KITCHEN
The kitchen is furnished by Donna in a contemporary and luxurious way with stylish tableware where wood and bamboo fit in perfectly with the jungle atmosphere. The Nespresso machine* has enough with 6 amps and on gas your espresso comes from a percolator on the go. A milk frother is in the drawer for your cappuccino. For a healthy start of the day you have a Braun citrus press*. In addition, the kitchen offers pans in all sizes and - last but not least - we also have an Omnia* oven for your fresh croissant!
Do you like cooking outdoors? Then connect a skottelbraai* to the extra gas connection.

TO SLEEP
The queen bed is a comfortable double island bed with Hymer mattress, adjustable headboard, reading lamps, bedside table, glasses case and built-in speakers. The mattress is 140 x 193 cm as standard, and can be extended* to 205 cm and shortened to 170 cm as a lounge bed. No climbing, no dangerous steps: just safely get out of bed into an atmospheric bedroom: illuminated with dimmed LED lighting in the evening and with a surprising view in the morning when you look outside through the large panoramic windows. All windows can be opened and are fitted with net curtains, pleated curtains and gauze. The roof hatches are also fitted with pleated curtains and gauze. A mosquito will not easily disturb your night's sleep!

SANITARY
Lovely shower with a generous jet, from steaming hot to fresh cold in a separate shower cubicle. And you don't just have that shower inside, but also outside! The outdoor shower is conveniently hidden behind your camper with also hot and cold water and a nice hand shower.
The Thetford toilet has recently been renewed (Fresh Up set) and is equipped with extraction (SOG) so that your camper continues to smell fresh ;-)
The bathroom also has plenty of storage space and a handy 220 Volt socket, so your toothbrush or shaver is always charged and ready.

OUTSIDE
Outside you can sit on Bardani chairs and there is a tasteful Bo-Camp Urban Outdoor Southwark bamboo camping table. And if that is not enough comfort, we also have a double hammock* ready for you.
If you like to sit neatly, take a tent carpet* with you. We have them ready for you in 2 sizes.
If you are looking for shade, the large Thule sun canopy is the best place to go. If you want to be out of the wind, the optional wind screens* are within reach.
Is it getting too cold, or too hot? In addition to the pleated blackout, we also have extra window and cabin insulation* for every season.
For your camper wash, use the handy fold-out Fiamma Wash Dry clothes rack - under the bike rack. Of course, equipped with a practical supply of clothes pegs.
We've thought of everything!

AFFORDABLE
Keep your holiday affordable: we think along with you. We cool, cook and heat on LPG. Nice and cheap and available at the pump. The tank is full when you leave.
Solar panels provide you with free electricity.
The Fiat Ducato diesel engine and the Hymer streamline make a consumption of 8 liters per 100 km. feasible at 90 km/hour. If you drive with the trucks, it even drops to 7 liters per 100 km.

TV/SATELLITE/AUDIO
For the enthusiasts, this Hymer has a built-in TV. On the roof is a satellite dish, which can be operated automatically from the car. With a CI module and/or an optional subscription* you can receive your favorite TV channels throughout Europe.
But honestly, in many places streaming via WiFi or your own hotspot with a tablet or laptop is more convenient. If you choose that, connect your device - just like your phone - via Bluetooth or USB to the Kenwood car radio and listen to cinema audio quality via the new Alpine speaker set with subwoofer. And that sounds - on the highway and at the campsite - super cool! Or how about a movie on your lounge sofa: we have even placed speakers for you by your bed.

SAFETY
In addition to central door locking, the doors can also be equipped with Heo-Safe* locks. This allows the doors to be locked additionally - and exclusively from the inside of the camper.
In addition, we attach great importance to good maintenance - valuable for your and our safety. In May 2024, all camper installations were checked and the tanks cleaned. The camper is on new summer tires and in September 2024, the Fiat part received its regular maintenance.

WEIGHT
A large load capacity is a plus. Avoid a fine for overloading and/or a rejection of your insurance claim because your camper is too heavy. For us, this was the reason to choose this Hymer with a load capacity of no less than 700 kg.
A camper is quickly too heavy. The weight of a (bare) camper itself is often ± 5% more than the license plate indicates (± 100 kg). Water and other liquids then come into contact with this
(± 100 kg) in the tanks, a half-full diesel tank (± 50 kg), the weight of 3 persons (± 200 kg), the inventory (± 50 kg), a full refrigerator (± 50 kg), accessories (± 50 kg) and your own luggage (± 100 kg).
In short: you will soon be carrying 700 kg of cargo. It is good to know that this Hymer 598 ensures that you stay within the margins and that you can avoid fines or problems with your insurance.

AL-KO
Another advantage of a top brand like Hymer is the use of an AL-KO chassis. You drive with a construction optimized for a camper. The camper has a wide track setup, which means the rear wheels are further out than the front wheels. This improves roadholding.
In addition, this AL-KO chassis is lowered, which makes the camper body lower and also has a lower center of gravity. This improves driving qualities and your safety.
The suspension is also superior in an AL-KO chassis. Instead of the much-used leaf springs, this AL-KO chassis uses shock absorbers with a torsion axle. And that comes pretty close to independent wheel suspension as we know it from luxury cars.
All in all, a lot of driving comfort and also a serious improvement in your safety.
