Out and about with Tinkerbell 🚐
Tinkerbell is our 2023 Peugeot Boxer, which we had professionally and completely custom-converted with great love into a cozy little house on wheels. We use her ourselves for weekend getaways in the Netherlands, longer road trips, and cozy autumn and winter trips. When we are not out and about ourselves, we think it is a shame for her to sit idle. That is why we love sharing her with others who are also looking forward to the camper life.
Whether you're heading out as a couple or taking a longer trip with your family, Tinkerbell is made for adventures all year round. And your dog is more than welcome too 🐾
🛏️ Sleep well
At the back is a wonderfully spacious fixed double bed measuring 160 x 193 cm. So you don't have to convert anything in the evening and can just crawl right in.
Under the large bed, we had a separate cot made with a 130 x 70 cm mattress, complete with its own Miffy lamp. If you are traveling without a child, you can also conveniently use this space for extra luggage.
Both beds are fitted with a clean mattress protector and fitted sheet upon departure. Please bring your own duvet or blankets and pillows.
🛋️ Sitting and lounging
The seating area is a cozy place to eat together, play a game, or enjoy a glass of wine or beer in the evening. The table can be lowered, and with the extra cushion, you can turn it into a large lounge area. It is also a nice place for the dog to lie down.
Tinkerbell has four seats while riding.
☕ Cooking and coffee
In the kitchen, you will find a gas hob, a sink with an electric tap, a spacious fridge, and plenty of storage space. Crockery, cutlery, pans, and cooking utensils are provided.
Even the little things are ready for you. Oil, pepper, salt, tea, and coffee are provided, as are clean tea towels. And because a good cup of coffee on the road is pretty much part of camper life for us, Tinkerbell has a pull-out Nespresso.
🍂 Also outside of summer
Thanks to the good insulation and parking heater, it stays nice and warm and cozy inside, even on colder days. Ideal for an autumn weekend or a winter road trip.
With the 300W solar panel and lithium battery, you can also stay off-grid for a while, without being dependent on electricity at a campsite. Additionally, there are 220V sockets and USB and USB-C connections. On warmer days, the MaxxFan, the skylight, and the mosquito net ensure fresh air.
🚐 Comfortable on the go
Tinkerbell is a 2023 Peugeot Boxer with a 165 hp 2.2 BlueHDi engine and Euro 6 emission class. She features cruise control, cabin air conditioning, and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. A modern van that allows you to hit the road comfortably and with peace of mind.
🌿 Further on board
There is a toilet, plenty of closet space, large drawers and storage space under the bed, a laptop safe, a gas meter, a separate outdoor shower, and of course an awning to create your own cozy spot outside as well.
If you want to take bicycles with you, a bicycle carrier for two bikes can optionally be mounted on the iSwing.
