We rent our camper!
And it's not just any one, this was our house for the past 1.5 years. In January '22 we left for the Arctic Circle. Yes indeed: this camper drove through the High North in the middle of winter. And has therefore also been the proud observer of the Northern Lights. But we have also been to Southern Europe (southernmost point even), England and the Balkans. 30,000 km in 1.5 years, without technical problems. Strong boy, that pink camper of ours.
We have now been living in the Netherlands for six months now because our daughter is of school age (okay and work) and we have decided to rent out our camper for the coming holidays.
Of course we find it a bit exciting, because we hope to be able to make many road trips with our house. So we would like to ask you to treat it with lots of love and gentleness.
The nice thing about our camper is: we have turned it into a house. As you can probably see in the photos :D.
The camper is from 2004, everything works, but certain things need some TLC. But of course we will explain all that to you. Technically it just rolled out of the garage, so in that respect it can go again!
The camper is suitable for 2 adults and a maximum of 2 children. The mattresses in the alcove are children's mattresses. You can 'close' the alcove with a net that you click onto the ceiling on both sides. This way your child(ren) cannot fall out.
The bathroom is fully functional (yes, the shower works too), and the nice thing is: we have made the camper so that you only need gas for a hot shower and heating. You cook using electricity. There are 3 solar panels on the roof and two lithium batteries in the back. If you are an economical cook (we will explain the tricks to you) you can stand for 3 days without needing external power. And maybe a day longer if the days are sunny. And if you only eat salads, you can survive the 6 days :D. You just have to empty your toilet somewhere.
We have had 3 campers for rental during the corona years, so you are in good hands with us. Tijmen is your point of contact and is always available, even when you are on the road.
We take plenty of time to show everything when you pick it up, but you will also find a small book in the camper so you can read the entire explanation again.
Camper comes with awning and outdoor table + 4 chairs. The 'garage' has room for 2 bicycles and 2 small children's scooters.
Also included: kitchen supplies. So cutlery, pans, cups, plates (2 wine glasses, made of glass, that is) bowls, cutting boards, kitchen towels, tea towels & dishcloths, French Press (for your cups of coffee), whistling kettle & tea thermos.
Bedding (4x 1 person set, excluding blankets & pillows) + towels are included.
Do you agree with our story and is our camper in good hands with you? Send us a message with your rough travel plans and maybe you will realize them in our lovely house!
