The Volkswagen Grand California is the alternative to a mobile home. A built-in toilet and shower and kitchen create a camping feeling without having to forego the luxury of a mobile home. The design of the Grand California is based on the VW Crafter panel van and not - like the other California vans - on the T6.1. A length of around 6 meters also allows accommodation for up to 4 people - 2 people directly under the roof with a view of the stars, 2 people across the rear of the vehicle. The pop-up roof is therefore not required on the Grand California, all sleeping places are permanently installed.

Self-sufficiency through fully-fledged bathroom & kitchen
The biggest change of the Grand California compared to the California Coast/Ocean/Beach is the lockable bathroom. In addition to the toilet and washbasin, there is also a shower here. The water tank with a maximum capacity of 110 l enables full self-sufficiency without having to rely on a campsite. In addition, the Grand California - similar to the Ocean - also offers a connection for an outdoor shower. The kitchen consists of a cool box, a sink, two gas hobs and storage space for crockery and cutlery. Breakfast can be quickly prepared on the dining table with the swiveling front seats – without having to tidy up the beds and the like.
