Doug – Volkswagen T4 - Transporter // Pop-up roof Fond Vendome

His name is Doug, and he's an old dad. Not so young anymore: he will soon celebrate his 30th birthday! But with it, you will go far and (almost) everywhere. When he and we saw each other, it was love at first sight.
Robust and reliable, that's what we immediately liked about it.

It's a white VW T4 with a hard pop-up roof (not the canvas roof which opens in a triangle, the other which goes up flat) - height 2m10 (pay attention to the height bars).

It has comfortable equipment to leave with friends or lovers: a real fridge (which even makes ice cubes, perfect for your pastis or in a perrier!), real cooking fires, a real sink with a tap on pump electric (cold water only) with substantial waste water tank.

If the registration document indicates 4 seats, be careful though: there are no seat belts in the rear (ah, the 90s...). Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept large families, for obvious security reasons...

Once the bench seat is pulled out and unfolded, you will sleep like a charm on its Bultex cushions (shhh no brand). We provide a Decahtlon self-inflating mattress topper (shhh we said!) for even more comfort if you wish.

Its advantages are rudimentary, ideal for a vintage 20th century road trip: no air conditioning, no central locking, everything works with elbow grease! However, you can drive at 130 on the motorway if that's really your wish, but admit that it's even tastier to take your time and discover the wonders of our regions by the national!

You will have understood it, with Doug it is not the "all electronic comfort" option, but it is the pleasure of traveling without fuss, simply with the essentials.
