Le Cam – Renault Master 2 - Converted van - Homemade

Good morning !

We have fitted out this van bought in 2020 to go to Europe for a year. We traveled to France - Switzerland - Italy - Greece - Albania - Montenegro - Slovenia - Croatia - during the year 2022 and we finally decided to rent it rather than sell it at the end of our trip.

We carried out the layout entirely ourselves and the van is "VASP" certified in France (official motorhome registration). All the equipment installed has been approved by French standards. Our van is also equipped with an approved diesel heater.

The van is perfect for two people. It is made up of a kitchen, two armchairs facing each other, a sliding table and a double bed. The truck is equipped with 4 French 220V sockets and 4 12V USB sockets. All accompanied by multiple storage spaces as well as a "garage" part accessible partly from the interior but especially by opening the rear doors.

The kitchen is made up of a closable sink, a two-burner gas-powered hob (Twiny bottle), a 12/220V 38L cooler and a 60x60cm worktop.

Under the left seat is the electrical box with a 220A battery and among other things the converter. Under the right seat is the dry toilet which can be removed to take a shower in the tray at the bottom. A solar shower is also at your disposal to be able to take the shower outside by opening the rear doors of the truck.

The fixed bed (175cm by 140cm), has a folding part to make it reach its maximum size (175cm by 190cm). The bed is comfortable and its large size will accommodate the tallest (I am 184cm tall).

The van is completely self-sufficient in electricity via the charging of the solar panels (2x140W), the separator coupler which charges the batteries while driving, and the charger on 220V in the rare cases where there is no sun and you are not driving. not.

For water, the van has an 80L tank of clean water, with a filling cup outside the vehicle, however, you will also have 3 cans of 5L for drinking water and a shower available. 10L decathlon sunscreen. The evacuation of the interior shower and the sink are connected to a 40L tank of gray water fixed under the vehicle, you can empty it in the places dedicated to this purpose.

You will have at your disposal in the "garage", under the bed, a fold-out table, two camping chairs, a hammock, a sunshade and a spare gas bottle.
