The Bürstner Campeo Roadrunner: As its name suggests, this campervan is designed for long and frequent trips. I wanted to keep the explanation short, but unfortunately I did not succeed at all, it is therefore such a full option... Here we go:
* To ride *
The combination of the leather pilot seats with armrests, the cruise control and the automatic transmission really provide a wonderful driving experience. The diesel tank of no less than 90 liters will take you to the south with one tank. That's where the air conditioning comes in handy.
Only 6 meters long so you can easily enter the city, and that is also allowed, with the Euro 6D engine & ADblue (French Crit'Air sticker no. 2 is provided). You can park in a regular parking space, and you can do that without any problems with the reversing camera.
Very reliable and surprisingly economical Fiat Multijet2 140hp engine: If you drive defensively, you can achieve an average consumption of 8.5 L/100km. This is not "advertising consumption" but my real average after a weekend in the Ardennes or a week in France! I drive 90 to 100 km/h on the highway, which compensates for the extra consumption in cities or mountains.
• 9-speed automatic transmission with torque converter, all modern safety equipment (ABS, EBD, ESP, Hill Holder & Hill Descent,...) and even an electric starting aid for swampy campsites (Traction Plus).
• Pioneer Infotainment system with touchscreen, DAB +, Radio FM Rds, music streaming, rear view camera, Hands-free Bluetooth car kit, Apple Carplay and Android Auto: Listen to your Spotify playlist while navigating with Waze or Google Maps.
• Isofix attachment for child seats (both places on the rear seat).
Attention: Driving with this motorhome is extremely zen. Ask your partner or travel companions to remind you regularly that you are driving so that you don't get up to get a drink from the fridge.
* To live *
The ideal intermediate size: Despite the limited length, you have a very spacious feeling inside due to the open layout and the fact that you can open the sliding door and rear completely, unlike most mobile homes with a closed back, narrow entrance door and cupboards halfway.
• Lounge/dining area with leather seats, adjustable and extendable table.
• Functional and/or cozy lighting whenever you want: High beam, adjustable reading lights, warm dimmable LED strips and indirect floor lighting.
• Kitchen with sink, gas cooker and 90L large fridge with freezer for ice cubes.
• Bathroom with toilet, sink and shower.
• Lots of closet space and a very large storage space under the bed.
• 100 liter fresh water tank, and you can call this a real all-season motorhome thanks to the powerful heating, careful insulation, high-quality recessed windows and insulated and heated waste water tank.
• Thule awning against sun or rain, Outdoor lighting, Mosquito window built into sliding door.
Furthermore, fully equipped with everything you need:
• Cooking utensils, glasses, bags & cutlery, more than enough for 4 people: List available if desired.
• Camping set: Height-adjustable outdoor table, 4 seats and 4 stools, washing line and clothespins, picnic blanket.
• Travel kit: Extension wire, gas bottle in use + spare, extinguisher + warning triangle, tire repair kit, level blocks, pickets for the awning, water hose, toilet cleaner Thetford + toilet paper, fluorescent vests, first-aid kit, tension belts, fly swatter, 2 umbrellas, and the hope that you can use the latter don't need.

* Sleep tight *
With its 197 x 153 cm, one of the most spacious double beds at the rear, equipped with the extremely comfortable Bürstner bed concept with cold foam mattresses. You can also easily fold the bed at the back to make room for a spacious bicycle garage.
Extra double bed in the pop-up roof (135x200cm), also with cold foam mattress. Stowable steps, child protection (net), and also above are a reading light & USB charger.
* Off grid? no problem. †
Very large standing autonomy thanks to a double 95A residential battery and a solar panel on top of the pop-uk roof. In addition to several 220V plugs (which only work if you are connected to mains power), there are also several USB charging points (which also work on the living battery and the solar panel). There is also an extra 12V contact built into the living battery so that you can also connect 12v devices when you are off-grid. If desired, you will also receive an extra plug with a USB-C port for this; I use this to charge my laptop with the living battery when I start working off-grid (Provides no less than 60 Watts).
