Brilliant van to use. We spent 4 nights at a music festival in this van, and had a great nights sleep. The bed area was very dark and cosy, and really well sound proofed, with easy to use spotlights either side. The van is quite long but very easy to drive. The stereo has Apple Car Play and Android Auto so I was able to hook up my phone via USB to use navigation and listen to music. The garage space under the bed area was really useful for putting in luggage, and the rubber matting was great for wet/muddy items to be stored without making any mess. The front seats rotate round once parked up, which gives lots of seating area, and the foldable table by the sink was a nice bonus. It was a pleasure dealing with Mike who provided great communication before and during the hire, and I would definitely book the van again for another trip.

A great experience from start to finish. Clifford has built this van with everything in mind. We had use for a weekend as a family of 5 and were comfortable throughout. We only travelled to a local festival but the off grid set up was great and meant we could use all our home luxury's while being in the field.

My wife and I have had 3 camper holidays so far. This experience was absolutely the best. Brilliant motorhome-all mod cons, the van has everything-even proper wine glasses! Brilliant owner-extremely helpful, very supportive over any question, (no matter 'how silly') good advice and always quick to respond. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend this owner without hesitation.

We picked up the land rover from Julia’s family and they walked us through everything we needed to know about the Land Rover, so we felt very safe and excited for our trip. We drove up the north west of Scotland, and the land rover stood us in great stead for the windy roads and the rain that came later. It’s a really special wee van and we absolutely loved our week in it - perfect if you’re wanting a car with bags of character and a safe and reliable drive. Would absolutely recommend Julia and her family to hire from if you’re wanting to explore Scotland in a cosy camper. It’s small enough to navigate the roads but big enough for a comfortable sleep for two! 🌞

We did the NC500, and the van had everything we needed for the week and was really well thought out. Simon went above and beyond to explain everything and make sure we had the best trip. We really appreciate it. We had the best week and our dog loved it!!

This was our first experience of a motorhome holiday. We hired the Moho from James in Penrith as it was on our way from home in the Midlands up to Scotland where we were looking to complete most of the NC500 route. Leading up to the holiday I was in comms with James on a few occasions and he answered all of my questions and that was pretty reassuring. Handover was a smooth affair, the van (Wildax Citroen) was very clean and had everything we needed, James explained things really well and demonstrated everything we needed to know. Being a fellow motorcyclist we hit it off straight away and we departed happy in the knowledge that James was contactable if we needed him. This was just as well because it would transpire that we needed his assistance on a couple if occasions - NOT because of anything wrong with the van though! On the second day driving out of Dunfermiline on a twisty road we hit a major pot hole and lost ALL power from the engine. I managed to coast the van into a farm gate but the back end was sticking out in the road on a bend! James had the situation covered with breakdown assistsnce who turned up reasonably quickly but google had already saved the day! After a quick online search I found that the van had an inertia trip switch fitted that cuts all power in the event of a crash and after a re-set we were able to move. The breakdiwn truck turned up and did a check.over the front wheel and suspension and gave us the all clear. On the second occasion I managed to put the rear nearside wheel into a drainage ditch on the single track Glen Etive road whilst backing into a oassing place. Fortunately the guy I wss letting through was in a 4 wheel dtive Jeep and we got the van out no ptoblem but again James was on hand via the phone to advise us. The van was easy to drive and had all mod cons including heating which was useful on a couple of occasions. We had 7 nights on sites (and took advantage of yheir showers and facilities) and 2 nights off grid which were comfortable enough. All in the van was pretty economical and we did the whole trip of well over a thousand miles on £350 of diesel. We had a great holiday amidst the VERY spectacular scenery of Scotland! Oh and as a tip! Get an EE OR LYCAMOBILE SIM. SO IN CONCLUSION.....If youre looking to hire a reliable 4 berth motor home for a trip at a good price from a very friendly and helpful hirer then James is your go-to guy!

We had a fantastic holiday in Alec’s camper van. Van was very comfortable, well appointed and perfect for our road trip to Scotland. The pick up and drop off process was very smooth and communication excellent.

Very responsive, helpful and friendly communication from Chris and his team. ‘Dory’ was exceptionally well equipped - Chris had thought of everything, with plenty of extras available if we needed them. She was well presented and clean and comfortable. We had a great week exploring the Yorkshire Dales in her and look forward to another adventure next year!

We had an amazing experience renting Bessie, the campervan. The van was spacious, functional, and impeccably clean. The layout was fantastic, and the huge bathroom made getting ready a breeze. Debs was incredibly communicative and friendly throughout the entire process. To our surprise, there was a more-than-ample welcome pack waiting for us, including a lovely bottle of wine to enjoy after reaching our destination. The campervan was equipped with everything we could possibly need. We can't recommend it highly enough! Thank you for making our trip so enjoyable, Debs!

Hi, we spent our first visit to Scotland wonderfully. Renting a motor home was a great choice. The chosen car is suitable for two people, perfectly equipped and suitable, even for cooking and also for narrow roads in Scotland. Lynne prepared a friendly welcome for us (milk, butter, toast, prosecco...).We could immediately set off. Everywhere in Scotland is beautiful. We recommend pre-booking autocamps.
