Bumi – 2p Volkswagen campervan from 1997

My custom-built campervan is available for your adventures! Bumi has been around for a while, but the van has had a new interior this year and the engine was replaced last year. She drives like a dream and is fully equipped! The van has a large household battery that charges while driving but can also be plugged in. Without charging (while driving or charging), the battery lasts 3 to 4 days. So you can enjoy going off-grid!

The van features a small kitchen with all the necessary utensils (including a sink with a tap and a Bluetooth-controlled refrigerator with freezer compartment), a 1.25x2.00 double rock-and-roll sofa bed, a swivel passenger seat, a pop-up roof and awning, a wardrobe, and is equipped with two camping chairs, a table, a dry toilet, and a pressurized outdoor shower. There's storage space in the back for about 3.5 crates. There's also a gas alarm that goes off if the gas concentration inside becomes too high (for example, if you haven't properly closed the gas bottle). So you can sleep soundly.

I built the van myself, and it was important to me that it had a cozy and warm character. You can tell it's handcrafted; if that's something you're passionate about, this van is perfect for you! The furniture is sturdy, and although there are short instructions, it can quickly be converted from a sofa to a bed and back. The pop-up roof allows you to cook while standing, and the kitchen counter folds out for extra workspace.
