Emma was a pleasure to deal with throughout the booking, especially when the van developed an unexpected mechanical fault and we had to cut our trip short. She was always available by phone, kept in regular contact, and processed the refund she was responsible for promptly and in accordance with Goboony's guidance. I couldn't have asked for a more helpful and understanding owner.
Unfortunately, my experience with Goboony has been very different. Despite the trip ending early through no fault of either myself or Emma, Goboony appears to believe it is entitled to retain its full fees, leaving me significantly out of pocket. I intend to challenge this, as I believe it is both unfair and unreasonable.
I hope I will be able to update this review in the near future if Goboony resolves the matter fairly. Until then, both renters and owners should be aware that, if a trip is disrupted by circumstances beyond anyone's control, they may receive far less support and consideration from Goboony than they might reasonably expect.
