This campervan is incredibly sweet and was really well kept, homely and clean. Not having ever driven one before, I found driving it incredibly difficult, due to its age, it was not a pleasant drive and we found ourselves not wanting to move. I made it clear we would not be going to a campsite, but wasn't told that this would affect the fridge not working and not having any electricity either. which was disappointing. Not moving meant we couldn't charge our phones. But as it was my first time I put this down to my own inexperience. It hasn't put me off though. I will def try it again but with a newer model. I would not recommend an old model to anyone who has never used a campervan before. June 2019
Response from Carolyn Hello Joyce, Thank you for your review and i'm sorry that you didn't get the most out of our Campervan. You are right that she is very old being 31 years old and does require some camper experience. As regards to the fridge, it can be powered 3 ways; 1. 240v hook up at the campsite which is always the best option because it powers the whole van. 2. 12v leisure battery which is used when travelling and or with the engine on. 3. LPG Gas when the camper stationary and there is no 240v hook up. All this information and instructions is in the user manual which is in the Campervan. With regards to the phone charging, obviously the van was designed and built before mobile phones but there is a plug socket in the van which can be used when the camper is powered or you can charge from the USB on the radio when the engine is running. Best regards, Matt & Carolyn.
