I highly recommend hiring the kayak too it was the cherry on top of an epic trip. Me my husband and our 2 year old shared the massive bed at the back (to be honest all 4 of us would have fit there comfortably), and my 7 year old daughter slept on the double pull down bed which she thought was completely magical.
