Camping Les Rives du Douet

Liked: Plenty of shade for us and our dog. The small river outside was great for a paddle. The washing facilities were perfectly fine, including toilet paper

Could be better: On arrival I could see two waiting spaces outside reception but beyond the closed barrier. Outside, near the code number keyboard was clearly marked no stopping so as I approached i gave a polite toot for reception to lift the barrier. The chap in reception was furious and said he expected me to park many metres in the car park outside and walk in (the 🥵 heat) Instead of the clearly marked reception spaces.

Liked: Municipal camping. Nice places. One new sanitaire block which was excellent. The existing one in the center of the camping outdated and no warm water

Could be better: Renew the heating installation of the central sanitaire unit

Liked: Clean toilets and showers - one older block and one new. Shaded and open pitches Small shop on site for breakfast and few other essentials Short walk to town

Liked: Lovely campsite, well placed, clean toilets and showers

Liked: It was quiet, we were given a lot of helpful information about the site, facilities and the local area. The staff took great care to ensure the site was well maintained and cleaned and they went above and beyond in ensuring we had all we needed. The showers were the best I've found on any site so far and there was toilet paper in the loos. Great!

Could be better: If the showers in Sanitaires 1 could match the ones in Sanitaires 2 in terms of layout, that would be perfect!

Liked: Es war sehr ruhig. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Viele tolle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar. Toller Spielplatz nebenan.

Liked: Nice clean quiet camping area. Toilets and showers all good, with toilet paper. Level. Very nice area around douet la Fontaine . Great zoo and rose garden.

Liked: J'ai apprecier le calme du camping et l'ombre.

Liked: Camping et sanitaires toujours propres, accueil génial, les emplacements sont très grands, l' hébergement propre, pratique et spacieux. Proposition de découvertes aux alentours très appréciées

Could be better: Au niveau du camping rien à améliorer. Le seul bémol de notre séjour a été le réveil tous les matins à 7h30 par deux enfants en crise face à leurs parents pour mécontentement et multiples crises durant la journée, ce qui perturbe le repos qu'on est venu chercher

Liked: la gentillesse des gens de l'accueil. mais trop peu de campeurs. pas de copains -copines pour jouer pour les enfants. Mais tout cela est du à la canicule.

Could be better: éventuellement la clim dans les mobil home
