We had a great trip with Aza up to the Scottish Highlands and western Islands. The Camper van has everything you would want and is very spacious. I would recommend to anyone whether you setting up at a camp site or wild camping it was brilliant.
Motorhome and Campervan Hire in Pen-y-lan
The motorhome was in very good condition and clearly very well looked after. The bed was incredibly comfortable - easy to take down at night and pack away each morning. The motorhome was surprisingly bigger than expected and more than comfortable for a couple with small dog. The process of booking, collecting and returning was easy and Iain was always on hand if you had any questions throughout. We would definitely book this motorhome again - 5 stars!
This campervan is great, everything you need for a luxury camping experience. Double bed very comfortable, TV, shower, kitchen, Blinds, and chairs for outside. Very clean. Lots of room for 2 people on holiday together. Easy to drive. Graeme who owns the van is great and really helpful with advice for your trip and best routes. Very professional service, always quick to respond to any questions and friendly communication. Would recommend hiring this van from Graeme and I'll defo be hiring again for another holiday.
This van is in pristine condition. You need to bring your own fundamental basics like toilet roll, surface cleaner and washing up liquid and tea towels as none are provided. Also not recommended for anyone going to beaches, as I lost deposit for sand in crevices. Having spent 10 days predominantly at sandy beaches, sand in the van is an inevitability. (It takes more than the dustpan and brush provided to get it out). A travel vacuum being provided would have helped. I would have tried with a garage hoover (though it would not have reached everywhere and the nozzle would have been too course for some crevices)..... if I hadn't been spending hours unsuccessfully looking for LPG before I returned the van. Refuelling with LPG takes some forward planning. Be clear where you are going to go and plan before your trip or when you have access to wifi (very limited places providing LPG refils around Carnoustie (Dundee seems to be the closest) and hard to track down on line if you just have a mobile and poor reception - (no printed instructions provided). The van itself is very comfortable, fuel efficient and reasonable to drive. The Sat Nav is poor quality and keeps switching route for no reason, so use your own (or a map) if you can.
Iain has his campervan set up perfectly with everything you would need for a trip. The campervan is perfect for off grid or campsite stays and was dream to drive around the natural beauty of Scotland. Iain has really thought of everything and we couldn't have been more please with our choice and trip.
We spent our honeymoon travelling around Scotland in Lydia J and had an incredible time. Lydia J is beautifully finished, she has everything you need, including a huge comfortable bed. We were so surprised at how spacious Lydia J felt, we found the storage more than enough for everything we brought. We loved cooking a meal or BBQ-ing and found the induction hob and microwave made cooking really easy. All of Eleanor's special touches made the trip so memorable, especially the goodies stocked in the fridge. We loved the freedom of being able to park up and sit in a beautiful spot cooking dinner and drinking fizz, or the enjoying the view out the doors from the bed in the morning with a coffee. Eleanor and Andy are so lovely and we felt well briefed for our trip, they were on hand for any questions whilst we were away. They clearly have a passion for making sure you have the best holiday and get the most out of your time away.
Amazing communication from Iain Amazing campervan - AZA Amazing holiday Just Amazing . From the minute we started communication Iain was incredibly prompt to reply . Helped us with route and any questions we had . AZA was immaculate and Sally even made us shortbread ! I cannot rate Iain , Sally and AZA enough , just book you will not be disappointed.
A fantastic trip in Lydia the van could only be topped by the owners themselves. a lovely couple that went beyond helpful for us on the trip around the NC500. The amount of attention and willingness to help, and sure the trip was wonderful was very much appreciated. Eleanor really did go above and beyond for us. The van itself is perfect, everything is immaculate ... even the fridge came stocked. Massive thanks to Eleanor, I will recommend this (you) to anyone wishing to take a trip in a campervan.
Renting Lydia J was one of the best things we have ever done! Our trip on the NC500 was fantastic and Eleanor and Andy were brilliant. The camper was homely, really comfortable, really bright and airy, and great to drive. It was perfect for the NC500 as it is that little bit smaller than a motorhome, but had everything you could need. Hob, microwave, fridge and all kitchen facilities were brilliant, bed really comfy, table and chairs great for outdoor use and the front of the van is really comfortable and spacious. Storage was pretty impressive considering the limitations, and the extra touches such as a speaker and projector made for some really great moments - watching the England quarter final on the big screen was very memorable! Best part was how helpful and friendly Eleanor and Andy are, and the finishing touches they have added to everything. Even the fridge was stocked with breakfast goodies, a cheese board, and bubbles! Thanks so much for all your help and for facilitating one of the memorable trips.
