I just ask that you treat the van as if it were your own. Please just look after it.

Also it is not an off road van as some of our customers have found out. Again when up in the highlands, we ask you please stick to the roads and not off road as to protect the beauty and surrounding eco system and environment and also protect the van from damage.

RETURNING THE VAN -

Please return the van with a cleaned/rinsed out and empty toilet cassette £100 charge for failure to do this - we have had customers use this as a service so have had to increase the penalty. We advise staying on a campsite your last night to enable you to do this.

A clean interior with appliances wiped down and brushed out floor

Pet hair cleaned if travelling with dogs

A full tank of fuel (full on handover FULL 2 FULL) - £15 CHARGE IF WE NEED TO TAKE TO REFUEL + FUEL

We very much understand that pets are part of the family so we welcome animals. All we ask is that you bring their bedding or when they are on the furniture use a throw so nothing is being scratched.

Please just treat the van well and look after it.

If anything does get damaged or any warning lights come up please let us know ASAP so we can rectify it immediately or when you arrive back.

Finally ENJOY, TAKE PLENTY OF PHOTOS AND MAKE MEMORIES

The motorhome was almost new, and everything worked as it was supposed to. However, interactions with the owner cannot be described as smooth. It all started with a non-legitimate request to present a UK driving licence with at least 2 years of validity, or an international driving licence, which would only be accepted if no UK exam or attestation had been completed. I understand this may be an insurance company requirement; however, this request is against UK law and should be resolved by the owner. The water hose supplied with the motorhome was unusable, as it could not be connected to any of the water points at camper sites (see attached pictures). The gas tank supplied with the motorhome became empty in the middle of the first night, which led us to believe it had not been full. The replacement gas tank we purchased lasted for the following two nights without any issues. We returned the motorhome with a delay due to an unforeseen situation on our way back, and we paid for this delay. However, the unpleasant voice messages from the owner did not help the situation at all. The safety deposit was returned with a significant delay. According to the owner, it had been released, but after contacting Goboony support, they informed us that it had not been released on the owner’s side. There is no way to verify who was correct, but after contacting support, the deposit was refunded immediately. All these interactions with the owner mean this company is not an option for me in the future, and I would not recommend it to anyone else. As so only 2 stars for working almost new motorhome May 2026

Eun was fantastic at communicating from the beginning of our hire to the end. He was able to answer all our questions and kept in regular communication. We took the Lewis motorhome out from a Friday to Monday for our first adventure with 3 adults and two children(aged 8,6). This was bought as a gift for my husband who would really like to own his own motorhome but has never had the experience of going out in one before. On arrival Eun had gone the extra mile and put up birthday banners and some complimentary treats. He showed us around the van, how to work all different aspects from heating, to lighting, to cleaning out the toilet, turning the sofa into a bed etc. He took copies of our documents and we completed the Goboony paperwork. As a family of 5, we had two men on the trip- 6ft,4 and 6ft who were advised to use the bunks at the rear of the motorhome as they were the width of the van. They were able to lie comfortably without feeling squashed. The double bed which came down from the ceiling was also very comfortable and I slept there with one of the children. The bed came attached with side guards which made us feel at ease that no-one was going to fall off. The van was well equipped with kettle, pots and pans, cutlery, plates and bowls, corkscrew, scissors- Eun really had thought of everything we might need! We took advantage of a bedding pack and there was also lots of blankets for cosying up at night. The van also came with camping chairs although due to the lovely Scottish weather we didnt have the opportunity to make use of that. For our first trip we stayed within Scotland and travelled to the West and East coast staying on a Hoseasons site which allowed us access to many of the facilities on offer. It was simple and not that expensive to book and easy to attach power. We had also completed some research online and had found a site nearby for dropping the motorhome off on the Monday which was very quiet, located on a farm and the kids had a fantastic time meeting all the animals! Overall, we had a fantastic time- despite the weather (high winds and very heavy rain!) and have already began discussing opportunities for our next trip. The Lewis motorhome was the perfect size for our family and needs. April 2026
