2008 Mercedes Vito super comfy & well equipped campervan

Our Mercedes (nicknamed Rusty MLC) is a 4-berth campervan fitted out to a high standard. He has 5 seat belts (rear two best for children with limited head height) and an additional bed can be in his drive away air-awning. Rusty is the perfect companion for exploring all of the UK and Europe. Rusty is an LWB van that fits in a standard car parking space and is a great comfy ride and easy to drive.

Fully equipped with electric pump cold water, 240v hook up, and a leisure battery for off-grid power. Front & back leather seats & a nearside side opening door. The van has an inbuilt water tank so no walking off to fill a jerry can.

Rusty was professionally converted in 2017 for all year round use in the UK and has a really nice driftwood kitchen with 2 gas burner hob. There is a sink with a Dometic fridge with an ice box for keeping food & storing the Gin & Tonic as well as a range of cupboards & storage options. He is fully insulated with a diesel heater for colder camping adventures and has a full set of curtains & black out mats to add to the privacy glass & sparkly interior lighting & he has two fold away chairs.

The Idris II air awning is the perfect size to use as internal space or another bedroom (we have a blow up mattress if you need) & has an attached groundsheet. The inflatable beams make setting up easy and connects by a fabric connector to the van making it easy to disconnect Rusty and drive away from the awning to go off on adventures from your holiday base.

Rusty is a super comfy to drive 2.2 diesel with six gears and cruises at 70mph with about 400 miles range average per 60 liters of diesel. Equipped with Pioneer Auto Android / Apple Car Play system you connect your phone to use your Sat Nav & music apps or the DAB+ /FM radio. The onboard TV & DVD can also accept inputs for Netflix via your phone and works whilst driving to keep the kids happy as a DVD player from the 12v cigarette lighter & when onsite & plugged in via the 240v plug and he has four USB charging points.

Rusty also has a well equipped kitchen with kettle, pots, frying pan, large knives, cooking utensils, colander, cutlery, plates & bowls & plastic wine glasses and jug & tumblers for 5 people.
