Franki – 4 berth Frankia A Class

Franki is a Frankia 680 Ed A Class motorhome for 2/3 people, suitable mainly for 2/3 adults or 2 adults/1 child. Frankia are a German company who have been setting industry standards for motorhome for the last 60 years. This motorhome is very comfortable to both drive & live in. The A class has a large bay window, where you can enjoy the scenery whilst you travel in comfort from the elevated driving position.
The armchair cab seats swivel to complete the expansive forward seating and dining space with its two sofa configuration. There are two forward facing, 3 point belted travelling seats.
The double/king bed is lowered by an electric motor from its position over the cab area.. It rests in the cab space, not impeding into the dining/living area. The bed can be left all made ready for the following night, simply lower to use, then raise with a simple switch after use. There are mattress inserts extending the bed to 6ft x 6 ft, allowing sleeping either front to back of the van or side to side. There is a ladder to help you get in & out of the bed. The seating area is also configurable into further sleeping berths, all bedding supplied for the beds.
The kitchen is well equipped with 4 gas hobs, a separate grill and an oven. The L shaped work surface is a great design incorporating two stainless steel sinks with mixer tap and a bin set into the worktop. There is plenty of room to prepare & cook meals. A large glass 3 way fridge with separate freezer offers ample food and drinks storage.
To the rear is a large washroom with separate shower cubicle, cassette toilet and washbasin. This is created by using the toilet door to partition the rear of the vehicle. There is also a single bed with cupboard & hanging rail, light & sockets, this sits over the garage space beneath. There is a blind from this bedroom for privacy to the bathroom area.
The garage storage compartment has two doors for easy access. There are tie down points to secure cycles inside the compartment.

Please note that this vehicle requires the driver to have the C1 classification on their UK license.

Documentation needed from the hirer :
. Copy of the photo card drivers license (address & I.D must be up to date)
. Two proof of address from separate sources.
. Cleared a traceable security deposit (BACS, PayPal)
. Signed rental agreement
. Must meet the specified age limits within the policy and have at least 2 years
. driving experience (full UK, EU, AU, US, CA, NZ, & SA licence types).
. Two, 3 point convictions are acceptable (I.e. 2 x SP30’s, 3 pts each) without referral.
. Single 4 point offences are acceptable without referral and subject to standard terms.
. Single 6 point SP30, SP50 and CU80 convections are acceptable subject to a £1000 excess.
All other 6 points+ offences will require referral to the insurers.
. No more than one fault or outstanding incident/claim in the last three years.

You must provide a total of two proofs of address from the following::-

HMRC self-assessment/tax credit

All documents must be dated within 90 days of the hire date.

All payments for ‘Clean Air Zone’ areas ,tolls & driving fines to be paid for by the hirer.
Parking on my drive maybe available for the duration of the hire, so please enquire.
