Joyride – 4-berth Long wheel-base Ford

If you fancy going off-grid with all facilities available, or prefer glamping with a big awning for your family, Joyride will never let you down.

Joyride is a 2018 Ford Transit Custom with long-wheel base for more space, but drives like a normal car. She has five belted seats, and the passenger seats in the front can swivel. We've also equipped Joyride with a solar panel and double battery, so you can be off-grid for many days, and the in-built toilet makes your freedom complete. The diesel heater keeps it cosy, even in mid-winter.

Joyride is beautifully converted with a well-equipped kitchen, including fridge and microwave and all kitchen equipment for dining on board or under the sunshade on the outside furniture. She has everything on board for an exiting trip, only add your clothes, toiletries and food shopping, and hit the road.

Joyride features a rock-n-roll bed and, with the pop-top bed accessible by a ladder, it sleeps 4. She can be completely blacked out, to prolong your nights in the summer.

The van has a tow bar if you need to carry bikes, and you can use a 3 x 4 m Cayman drive-away awning for lots of extra room.
