I rented the van out for 2 weeks, I really like my stay. The bed was very comfortable, the van is completely supported on batteries, and has some really nice home comforts. The automatic roof vents make for great airflow, the heater very efficient. I didn’t get cold, cooking facilities were as easy to use. The van is a 2018 plate so is exempt from all clean air zones, which I was initially worried about when driving through Sheffield but it was no bother. It drives really smoothly. !!!! Highly recommended !!!! I stumbled across "big blue" by accident after being let down at the very last minute from a different private renter. I was new to the gobooney site and had not been verified yet, I messaged Aldous and explained my situation. Aldous was extremely helpfull and understanding and reserved my booking until I had gone through the verification process with goboony. With less than 48hours notice Aldous was extremely helpful in getting the van prepared and getting the van to a suitable location that worked better for me for the collection. Aldous was very easy to communicate with and his clear instructions on how the van worked, made for a very easy stress free trip. "Big blue" was perfect for our camping trip to the lake district, all the amenities were in perfect working order, we had everything we needed for a perfect 'off grid' camping weekend. The diesel heater was a God send for the colder nights and the bed was very comfortable. For the price, it's really hard to find any faults with van! The worst part about our trip was when we had to hand "big blue" back over. I can't wait to rent this camper again! Thanks for everything Aldous! It was a pleasure! September 2025
