Hayes – LWB 4 Berth VW Transporter with 'king size' bed & pop top

This is ‘Hayes’ or fabulous T5.1 LWB VW Campervan. A 6 speed diesel manual van with lots of nice little upgrades. We bought him in October 2021 and have added a Skyline Pop top, Sink unit, Apple/Android Car play head unit and rear speakers plus a bike rack.

The interior of the van is all about travelling in comfort and getting the best nights sleep. With 6 belted seats you can travel in larger groups. In the cab we the driver gets a captain’s seat, with a double swivel seat for passengers. In the rear we have a full width Rib 3-seater that converts into a full king size bed. As this is a LWB camper there’s also room for a sink unit, water container & storage.

Having a great night’s sleep is a must for us so the full width 150cm Rib bed was a priority. This easily covert's into a king-size bed, we even have the option of adding a 2” mattress topper for an every more luxurious night’s sleep.

For the pop top we have fitted the Skyline Aurora roof, perfect for younger children, but still great when they get a bit bigger. With a maximum weight of 150kg, our kids still comfortably sleep up top and they’re 10 & 13. There’s a luxury thin sleeping mattress to make it as comfortable as possible. The base of the pop top rises to give you standing height the full length of the van when not being slept on, and the panoramic scenic canvas unzips so you can chill up top with a full view of the world.

All the essentials are fitted, LED Interior spot lighting, USB charging points in the main van as well as two in the pop top, house with a spotlight just for the kids. 2 x 13-amp sockets are available when you use the electric hook up. The rest of the time you have use of a massive leisure battery. The front double passenger seat swivels so 4 can sit around the table together. Diesel heating is as simple as pushing a button and you can fully control the temp as well as setting on and off times or temperatures, coupled with great insulation you are never cold even in the depths of winter.

The van is fully equipped including two camping stoves together with all the basics you need, cutlery, utensils, mugs, glasses etc (please see the full inventory). Also included are camping chairs and table. We ask you to provide your own towels and bedding but do offer a full range or bedding/towels at a small extra charge if required.

This is the perfect van for a couple or family of four, great for weekends or full weeks away. We have the benefit of a drive away Vango Air awning, an extra £50 per hire, this can be used as a cooking/eating/living area, or as extra sleeping space for adults.

We are perfectly located 5 mins off the M5 in Taunton Somerset, so if your aim is to explore the West Country you can make use of our off-street parking whilst you head off and explore. Likewise, if you’re based in the West Country and are looking to explore further afield you can.

Any damage to the camper, it’s fixtures and fittings or equipment will be charged at cost directly to the person who takes out the hire agreement.

To accept any booking, we require a valid driving licence held for 2 years and you must be able to supply 1 form of identification such as a passport, along with 2 forms of proof of address within last 90 days such as a utility bill, bank statement or council tax statement/bill.
