You are very welcome to come and enjoy our Arto! A proper little character! She’s quirky, full of personality, and ready to take you on adventures. Bags of space inside, plus all the bits and bobs you need for a road trip.
We’ve got a toilet, gas & electric heating, hot water, fridge with small freezer compartment… basically everything you need to feel at home on the road. There is also a shower though I’ve not listed it as the pressure isn’t brilliant so we normally use campsite showers. And as with any Van you need to make sure you have enough water in the tank!
NB: It’s best to keep the shower drains plugged when the shower isn’t in use. One of the van’s quirky idiosyncrasies is that sometimes water from the kitchen sink can bubble up into the shower!
The Motorhome is 6 m long and wider than most vehicles so please make sure you are comfortable driving a larger van before agreeing to rent. It is right hand drive. She drives like a dream for a classic 2001, and trust us, she’ll turn heads wherever you go! Perfect for weekend escapes or longer trips. I have marked this van as having a capacity to sleep three people. There is a pulldown bed over the cab which we’ve managed to fit two adults on though I have to say you have to get on quite well as it is a bit of a squeeze. Then there is a pullout bed below for another adult.
The heating and hot water work both off gas or can be run off electric hook up. The fridge can also be run off both. There is also a solar panel to help keep you topped up though it is best not to run down the batteries completely so please avoid too much use of electric if you are off grid.
I have provided almost everything you need, but please bring your own bedding and towels and toiletries. I have an odd selection of outdoor chairs you can feel free to use as well as a picnic table or you can bring your own if you prefer. There is a bike rack for a couple of bikes on the back.
I am on hand to give you all the information you need and teach you how everything works.
