We had such a lovely holiday staying in ‘Dougie’ the Campervan. The van had everything you could possibly need and more for a really comfortable stay and it was lovely to drive! Thank you so much to Ian and his family for letting us enjoy Dougie for the weekend!
Dougie the VW Campervan was fantastic! Iain had him pristine for when we picked him up & Iain also kept our car in a secure location while we were away.
Over 5 nights four of us made full use of Dougie, travelling to north Wales exploring, staying in 4 different camp sites. We drove through Snowdonia which was amazing & loved seeing everything ‘widescreen’.
Dougie drives beautifully with smooth power steering & can fit in a standard parking space so visiting towns is no probs.
We used the awning & table & chairs provided & both beds (rock n roller & roof bed). The full oven & mini sink worked a treat. Having a tv with dvd player was great too.
Thanks again to Iain for sharing his beautiful van. We’ve longed to try this type of holiday for so long & had an amazing time.
Being regimented in where you put & move your luggage to, depending on what you’re doing, took a bit of getting used to, as did living in close quarters but we got into it as we went along.
Iain was so helpful beforehand & during our break with any queries we had, answering them quick!

Iain was a super host, very friendly and laid back. Communication was fast and responsive. The campervan had everything you could possibly need including camping chairs, a table, kitchen utensils and even cleaning products and equipment! We had a fantastic trip along the Devon and Cornwall coastline, a big thank you to Iain for making our first campervan experience so special 😊
