Cilla – 3 berth professionally converted Ford bus (2018)

Welcome to your host, Cilla!

Cilla is our pride and joy! She is our beautiful professionally converted campervan. We have absolutely loved our trips away in Cilla which include Cornwall, France (when I was 7 months pregnant!), Isle of Arran and Glastonbury with our 9 month old at the time. It is a very comfortable van to travel in. We put a lot of time, consideration and planning into getting the layout and amenities exactly how we wanted. She has all the necessary luxuries you might require during your trip, allowing for free camping if that’s what you fancy. Our priorities were to have a van with headspace so you can stand up in it and to include a fixed bed. Having travelled around New Zealand in a smaller van with neither of these, we realised their importance. We feel like this experience in New Zealand gave us valuable insight to create a campervan for the perfect UK adventure.

Our van can heat water allowing for a luxury hot shower after a long day getting those steps in. It also has an outdoor shower, handy after a long day at the beach. The van can be heated or cooled down depending on the season using our innovative Truma Combi boiler - this can be run on electric if plugged in or gas if not. The two roof solar panels can give extra charge to the leisure battery, very convenient if free camping. The dining table can be removed and set up outside to allow for alfresco dining on a warm summer’s day. There is also a large awning to allow shade. And not forgetting the large garage space under the fixed double bed allowing for lots of storage for your trip.
