I had the most incredible trip in this lovely camper. She was comfy to drive and sleep in, and was wonderfully well equipped. The solar panels made it worry free and allowed flexibility where I could stay without relying on an electric hookup. Nikki was brilliant throughout. Excellent communication, friendly and took time to show me how to set everything up to maximise my enjoyment whilst away. This was our first time on GoBoony - actually - it was our first time in a Campervan. We had a few days off and a birthday to celebrate so we decided to do something different and go on a camping break. We found Gobooby through a search engine and enjoyed looking for our 'dream' van to rent. We basically narrowed our search down to 3 Campervans nearby and did a comparison of each - Dub Di won hands down and we are so pleased! What a beautiful campervan!! As a newbie I had quite a few questions and Nikki was always quick and friendly in her response. Pick up went smoothly - she even let us pick it Dub Di up a little early. Once there Nikki took us around the van and showed us how everything worked and where we would find everything. The excitement grew as we learnt how to make our trip more enjoyable!! The van itself is beautiful and in great condition. It it also fully equipped so we could really enjoy our time away. Nikki has thought of everything. We made tea, prepared basic meals, and made sure we always had a cold drink ready in the fridge! Unfortunately we didn't get to fully enjoy the whole experience as the weather was terrible - wet, windy and cold!! We managed about half an hour sat outside on one day and were very appreciative of the outdoor camping chairs provided. Dub Di is lovely to drive and definitely a head turner! We had quite a few other campers commenting on how lovely she is! The drop off was easy and we appreciated having a bit longer on the last day. We did the required checks on the van and told Nikki about our time away. She was a pleasure to deal with and seemed genuinely keen to provide the best experience possible. If you are looking to hire a 'cool and comfortable' campervan - then this one is it! I guess I should start by outlining why I ended up hiring Dub Di for the weekend, having never been in a campervan before, and giving serious consideration to purchasing one, I thought it best to try it out for a weekend to understand if the lifestyle is for us… Firstly, Nikki is lovely, through the booking process all communication was very quick and friendly. Running through the check-out process Nikki was very patient and clear in showing me how everything works, taking time to explain what any experienced campervanner would know and all the little tips on how to make life easier in the setup and take down of Dub Di. You can tell she is enormously proud of Dub Di, and rightly so! This leads me to Dub Di herself, what a Beauty, the photos do not do her justice. If you prefer to be inconspicuous, Dub Di probably isn’t the van for you, she is a real head turner, greeted with smiles and waves as you make your way along the roads, and a conversation starter when parked up on the campsite. The living quarters has everything you need to enjoy your time away at hand, the bed is extremely comfortable and the insulation from both the outside cold and noise is impressive! On the road Dub Di is a breeze to drive, even down tight, twisty lanes she is very composed and comfortable. Overall, our experience with the whole rental from start to finish was genuinely great, thank you, Nikki! Now the downside, for me anyway, Dub Di has convincingly answered the question I set out with, campervan life is for us, and things are about to get expensive! October 2025
