Ada – LUXURY - Spacious and beautiful Bespoke 3 berth Citroen Relay - Ada Van

Hi! This is Vicci and Gill, two friends who want to share our beautiful campervan, Ada with you! Ada is a long wheel base Citroen Relay, professionally and beautifully converted with no expense spared! We decided to invest in a Campervan conversion rather than a factory made van in order to build her to a spec' that oozes luxury, comfort and simplicity of use with a real home from home feel. She's been built with the intention to allow us... and you to have an authentic van life experience without compromising the home comforts. With a huge 295w solar panel, dual 130AH AGM batteries, intelligence DC-DC, she's fully equipped to go off grid as well as be hooked up, giving you the option to either plug in or un-plug.

We decided to go ahead and share Ada in order to give those who don't have their own van, the freedom to disconnect and experience van life. I know most ads to hire out a campervan give an overview of the van features and we'll come to that, but firstly it's important for us to share with you the essence of why we want to share Ada with you too. Hiring out Ada for your trip is not just about hiring a vehicle with four wheels, it's so much more than that. We believe that to live a truly rich life, a life where we are fully present; connected to our amazing world and to each other; a life of appreciation, joy and freedom it's critical that we take time out from the noise of the world so we can gently fall back into 'Home-base', that place of peace and joy! That place where we our fun and adventure lives. The place where our health and wellness thrives! We believe this is more important now than ever before, given the crazy world we are currently living in!

As two 50 something Nanas, yes that's right, Handstand walking, body boarding, weight lifting, back flipping grandma's who love adventure and are on fire to encourage others to live a full life, our mission in providing you with Ada for your trip is to give you an unforgettable NanasVanas experience, one which we hope will enhance your adventure and touch your heart.

Now, let's talk about Ada...
Sleeping space
Ada has a fixed double bed to the rear and a single bed next to the double which is very simple to assemble.. The mattress, oh the mattress - talk about luxury. Your mattress is a ComfiCel® Cool Memory Foam Mattress, those that you will often find in hotel rooms. It is perfect for increasingly warmer summers and fiendishly cold winters. It retains less heat in the summer, whilst remaining perfectly cozy throughout winter. ComfiCel Cool uses advanced open cell technology that retains less heat than traditional memory foam making it prefect for those who like to sleep cooler. Unlike traditional memory foams, your mattress reacts to pressure rather than temperature, and with the enhanced pressure relief this matress provides, after sleeping in Ada, you'll want to invest in one for your bed at home! :-)
We provide you with a mattress protector to lie underneath the bed sheet, but bedding is not provided. Should you require bedding for your trip, please enquire as this can be provided on request.

Kitchen
You have everything you need! Large sink with draining board; single tap with a pull down sprayer spout; large fridge freezer; double hob; microwave; smoothie maker; water filter jug; cutlery; crockery; tin opener; pots & pans; tea towels; chopping board; place mats; kettle; toasting rack; tea, coffee, sugar caddies; cafetier. The Kitchen is our favourite bit of Ada! With beautiful bamboo work tops and so much space - work space and storage. There's nothing worse than a low pressure tap, that's why Ada has been fitted with a shurflo inline pump to ensure constant steady water pressure.
There's also a curtain divider that you can draw across to close off the driving cab from the kitchen / living area.

Lounge / Dining Area
The Lounge area is separated from the fixed double bed with a beautiful small fixed divider. The lounge area has a large single seat with storage space underneath, opposite this is a double seat. This area doubles up as an additional single sleeping area. It also transforms into a dining area simply by sliding out the dining table top securely fixed away inside the base of the of the fixed double bed.
For those warm summer evenings, you have two 12v plug in fans to keep the air moving and keep you nice and cool.

The Garage
You have a very large garage space accessible from the rear. In here you will find the awning rod.

Windows
Ada has 2 windows that open and a large sky-light window above the double bed that opens. The windows have both mozzi blinds and blackout blinds attached. The back doors have a further two fixed windows..

Water tanks
The 70L fresh water tank and the 50L grey waste water tank are both underslung meaning they are outside the van, so there's no messing about or taking up space inside. Both water tanks have an electric sensor level indicator within the management system so you'll always know how much water you have and when the grey tank needs to be emptied.

Gas / Heating
Ada's double hob and heating system are supplied by the 25L underslung LPG gas tank with exterior filling point.

Interior
As previously mentioned, Ada has been designed with no expense spared. The beautiful bespoke interior of bamboo, and slatted wood is complimented by the lighting that provides a variety of ambiences depending on what mood takes your fancy!
In addition to the storage space, Ada has a cute book-nook with down lighting and a variety of books provided for you as well as some old-skool board games for you to enjoy with your loved ones to facilitate connection, fun and a whole lot of laughter.
Ada has plenty of electric sockets, both plug for when you're hooked up and USB's.

Accessibility and Outside
Ada has a pull out step attached attached for easy access into the van.
Ada has a top of the range awning which has LED lighting accessible to switch on and off from inside the van. An outdoor table and chair set is provided and stored in the garage space. Ada has a Toebar. A bike rack is not included but can be provided on request

Shower and toilet
Ada has a Solar Shower and a pop up shower tent. She also has an extendable shower hose connected to the main water supply accessible from the garage space. The toilet is a portapotti chemical toilet stored underneath the double seating area. Simply slide the toilet out and voila! You also have a pop toilet / shower tent stored in the garage.

Space
She’s a big girl, an L3 H2, meaning inside the living area, she’s just over 3.7 metres in length and just short of 2 metres in height so no more crouching down in van life!

Don't worry about a thing! In addition to showing you around Ada and how everything works when you come to pick her up, you will also be given access to short "How Too' videos to remind you of absolutely everything you need to know!
