Betty Ford – 4p Ford alcove uit 1974

What could be better than cruising in a beautiful vintage car that everyone looks at with a big smile and a generous wave?

With our 1974 Bedford CF you don't even have to drive a meter before you already have a holiday feeling. The camper looks beautiful, packed with authentic details, and the raw engine sound makes every kilometer a party.

Betty Ford, as we named our camper, has been completely renovated in recent years. It is equipped with a wonderfully large sofa that can be effortlessly transformed into a spacious double bed. There is another double bed in the alcove. There is a kitchenette and cupboards. There are no sanitary facilities. The seats have no belts (not mandatory in a vintage car).

What is there: a good Weber barbecue, a folding table, two relaxing chairs, three high chairs, bedding, Mepal crockery, kitchen utensils, toys, a bicycle rack and of course an awning (with rechargeable mood lighting) to take shelter under. It is possible to rent 1 or 2 new Quechua additional tents including bedding. And a SUP, for those who want.

Betty - who uses both gas and petrol - does not drive fast and she does not travel to great heights, but luckily with her home base in Zeeland you never have to go far away. In the 5 years that we have had Betty, she has never technically let us down. A little dexterity is a plus. If something unexpectedly goes wrong, we are always available and willing to help.
