We would also love to share our beautiful, unique bus with you!
We are Gerlof and Nynke, and we are the proud owners of Njord. Five years ago, Njord was a boring, simple, and lonely van. He has been converted entirely according to our own ideas into a practical and cozy campervan. We are very proud of him and enjoy using him. Njord has already seen many places in Europe, including Norway, Iceland, Spain, and France. Njord is very curious and would love to discover even more places with you.
Sitting comfortably and spaciously, and sleeping well and spaciously, that is the most important thing. The bed is 140 cm wide and 200 cm long (actually 180 cm wide, feel free to come and take a look). Even next to the made-up bed, you have plenty of comfortable space to get dressed standing up. There is even a good seating area left over. You don't have to go to bed at the same time.
The seating area, for 4 people, is more spacious than all the campervans we have seen, thanks to the two swivel front seats and a practical cooking area. The bench seat is also a real car bench, where you can stay for a long time on a rainy day. No simple rectangular caravan seating. And outside, you sit on good, luxury garden chairs under a large awning.
The solar panel keeps the leisure battery charged, ensuring you always have cooling in the fridge and heat from the parking heater. For permanent off-grid living. No hassle. We never bring 230V power cables. You don't need electricity at a campsite either. You often get the better spots then, such as on the hikers' field.
The parking heater is wonderful. Naturally on cold days, just before sleeping, turn the temperature up a bit extra and head to bed wonderfully warm. And if it’s not that cold, but rainy, you can quickly blow away that stuffy, damp feeling.
There is plenty of practical storage space. Including eight Euro crates (40 x 60cm), six of which are on the 'Cargoslide' (under the practical tailgate). This keeps your living space pleasantly tidy.
And yet, it remains a compact van. 5.20 meters long. With that, you can always park in a standard parking space. Handy in the city and at the supermarket. You can also drive it down any narrow country lane.
The powerful engine propels you forward smoothly in the mountains. It is a clean Euro5 engine. With it, you won't be bothered by low-emission zones anywhere in Europe, except for a few streets in Darmstadt and Stuttgart. The 2025 Swiss toll vignette has already been fitted.
A tiltable towbar bike carrier is available. Should you be concerned about bicycle theft, you can even store two bikes inside while driving or parked. Through the sliding door into the living area.
If you are curious about Njord and what else he has to offer, take a look at the rest of the checked amenities or send a message.
