COMPACT BUT COMPLETE AND COMFORTABLE:
We call our comfortable campervan Frits. Built in 2021, Frits is 6 meters long and 2 meters wide, making it relatively compact and manageable, yet fully equipped and comfortable. Sleek dark blue on the outside, yet pleasantly bright inside. Park it in a nice spot, extend the legs of the leveling system and the awning with a remote control, and your holiday can begin.
COMFORT AND LUXURY:
We have paid particular attention to comfort.
- Front and rear have a specially adapted CAMPER SUSPENSION for extra driving comfort and stable road holding
installed.
The awning can be extended with a REMOTE CONTROL. No more fiddling with a long, cumbersome pole!
- New is the CAMPEXX AUTOMATIC LEVELLING SYSTEM that allows you to level the camper at the touch of a button without the hassle of blocks.
The ENDURO SD260 91684 tow bar-mounted BIKE CARRIER is suitable for two electric bikes. It extends so the rear storage area is accessible even with bikes loaded.
- A pull-out compartment (a kind of large drawer) has been created in this STORAGE ROOM, making items such as chairs, the table, watering can, electricity cables, etc. easier to reach.
- In addition to the retractable step at the side door, there are also EXTRA STEPS at the front to make it easier to get in and out of the bus (quite high, for a bus with special camper suspension).
In addition to the mattress, the bed also comes with a LUXURY CUSTOM-MADE TOPPER. Please note that the bed is no larger than 140 x 195 cm!
A spacious eye-level refrigerator with a freezer compartment is always nice, of course. There's a step in the bus to climb into the raised bed.
- There's a DETACHABLE SUN AWNING at the front of the roller awning, allowing you to cool off on very sunny, hot days with separate sliding curtains. This can also provide privacy at a busy campsite. There's also a large outdoor rug for when it's wet or dirty outside.
COZY AND COMPLETE:
There are plenty of cabinets, and all the doors lock securely, so no rattling doors or drawers! There's a seating area with a table and spotlights, and the front seats swivel to become comfortable armchairs. Perfect for bad weather! There are also lamps by the bed, perfect for reading.
A compact kitchenette with two gas burners, a separate induction cooktop, a water basin with a tap, and a complete inventory. Coffee maker, Nespresso machine, kettle, pans, dishes, and cutlery. A spacious refrigerator at eye level.
Bathroom with chemical Thetford toilet, (limited) shower and sink.
DOG COMING?:
Our dog Max always comes along, so after consultation, it's perfectly fine for a dog to come along on vacation. Nice, isn't it? We've taken a large dog along a few times, and that went well. Two small dogs are also possible, but space is limited, of course. Max always has his own spot inside with his own basket under the table. He always curls up on the bench when traveling, and there's a leash hook there. There's a low windbreak (70 cm) in case a spot needs to be cordoned off.
TOW BAR: The bus is equipped with a tow bar. This can be used instead of the bike rack for a horse trailer, boat, or motorcycle. The bus can tow a maximum of 2500 kg (braked).
COMPLETE INVENTORY:
There's a full inventory for two people, including pots, plates, bowls, glasses, cutlery, kitchen utensils, and an induction hob for one pan if you want to cook outdoors, or for a larger pan (e.g., a wok). Storage containers are also available.
Buckets, cleaning supplies and a washing-up bowl are provided.
Two comfortable, adjustable ANWB chairs, a camping table, and a couple of folding footstools. A small, freestanding electric heater/air conditioner.
PILLOWS, BEDDING, AND LINEN ARE NOT INCLUDED. For full details, please see the house rules, inventory list, and Goboony checklist.
TECHNICAL: 2 HOUSEHOLD BATTERIES, FRESH WATER TANK.
Two household batteries are located under the front seats, so you're not completely dependent on utilities while on the road (refrigerator) or in emergencies. However, the campervan is NOT INTENDED FOR TRUE OFFGRID CAMPING. We're committed to using the electrical hookups at the campsites as much as possible. We never completely fill the 100-liter fresh water tank ourselves; it's just ballast for the road. We only use boiled water at most, or for things like rinsing and using the toilet. A special watering can is provided. We'll provide a first-aid kit of drinking water.
AUTOMATIC TOLL COLLECTION WITH FULLY: in France, Spain, Portugal.
There's a small box near the windshield that automatically registers your passage at toll gates (always choose the high toll gate with the "T"). Wait for the beep, and the barriers will open. This now also happens automatically and unnoticed on some roads.
These costs will be billed to us and will need to be settled with us one-on-one at a later date (we may already have received this information upon your return). The system cannot be turned off.
MAINTENANCE AND POSSIBLE PROBLEMS:
We have to be strict for a while, unfortunately due to unpleasant experiences:
Frits is well-maintained, recently inspected, and has undergone a major service (a copy of the maintenance report is available). As with any well-maintained vehicle, a malfunction is possible. Don't try to fix any technical issues yourself; Goboony has a policy for that! One of the household batteries was damaged during a rental, likely due to DIY tinkering. We had to have it replaced at a significant cost.
Besides the Goboony forms, we also have an additional document explaining additional costs such as Fulli on toll roads, and reimbursement of any outstanding fines (which we also receive from abroad, based on the license plate) incurred during the rental. If the gas tank is empty, it needs to be replaced. There is a smaller reserve tank, but almost everything electrical can be solved with the available inventory.
