After many years of adventures in our campervan “Ruth”, we are excited to share this experience with others. Our very well-maintained campervan is named “Ruth”, after an aunt who was generous with an inheritance. Ruth has already been to many countries: England, France, Germany, Norway, Portugal, Scotland, Slovenia, and Spain. The van was built in 2009, purchased in 2016, and in that same year we had the van professionally converted. Ideal for couples and equipped with everything you need. Reliable and with a strong diesel engine.
In the summer of 2023, we went to Norway, and in February 2025, we drove 5,000 km to Portugal and Spain, safely and without problems. In short, a comfortable campervan you can count on.
TECHNICAL
The van has a powerful 2.5-liter diesel engine. It drives wonderfully relaxed and fast on the motorway and smoothly in the mountains. The van has always had annual maintenance, and parts have been replaced where necessary. An efficient solar panel is mounted on the roof – handy for wild camping – alongside a power hook-up for electricity at the campsite. There is a (diesel) auxiliary heater for necessary heating and air conditioning in the cabin while driving.
SITTING and SLEEPING
The campervan feels very spacious. With an interior height of over two meters, it easily offers seating, standing, and sleeping space for two people. The bench and table can easily be transformed into a spacious double bed measuring 1.85 x 2 meters. The passenger seat swivels.
You must provide your own bedding and linens.
KITCHEN
For cooking, there are two gas cylinders, so you always have enough gas with you for the entire holiday. Furthermore, it is equipped with a vertical refrigerator with a small freezer compartment, two gas burners, and a new tap. The water jerrycan has a capacity of 20 liters. There is an extensive inventory of kitchen utensils, from a milk frother to an Omnia oven.
